Huon Franklin Cottage is situated in the Huon Valley, south west of Hobart. A federation home over looking the Huon River, & is a sanctuary of comfort, peace and privacy for a handful of guests,

This award winning cottage has 2 queen size room"s with ensuite's. The Parlour & Kath's Room

Kath's Room is disability friendly.

On arrival enjoy afternoon tea, with home made cake & biscuits, just the thing to start your stay in the Huon Valley.

Arrangments can be made for your stay to suit a special occasion. honey moon or engagment maybe, flowers chocolates & even champane.

For that romantic occasion call for quotes, flowers chocolates, Champagne on the balcony over looking the Huon River

The Parlour: Heritage Green
Kath's Room Romantic theme/disability.

2 people only in both rooms no extra beds

Both rooms are large with queen beds and private ensuites.

Your room has been equipped your room with electric blankets and a pure wool underlay, extra pillows.

The cottage is disability friendly, yes it is car parking provided, & Kath's Room is set up just for you.

TV and videos in both rooms and a collection of movies are available.
Both rooms have individual recycled air-conditioners for your comfort, which can be monitored, at your desired temperature.

The Parlour not suitable for children

"The Parlour" Decorated in Heritage green, with an ensuite.

Sit in the bay window and take in the view of the mountains especially "Sleeping Beauty" the mountain range in which the Huon Valley rests.

The ensuite is fitted out with Hair Dryer, Shampoo, Conditioner & other toiletries

Each room gives a history of its original owners.

QUEEN size room only, no extra beds available

Kath's Room not suitable for children

"Kath's Room" Decorated in Burgundy also with it's own ensuite and is disable friendly.

This room has a Movie Theme.
