Description

Morvern Valley Guesthouses are on 25 country acres.
Located just 5 minutes walk from Bundanoon Village.

Half of the property is cleared, your cottage looks onto picturesque farm paddocks (complete with farm animals!) and then onto natural bushland, Coal Creek and the Morton National Park.

There are three fully self contained cottages upon the 25 acres - and these are spaced well apart to ensure your full privacy. A whole cottage is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, the Morvern Valley property is NOT home to your hosts - we do not live on the property.

Morvern has a maximum capacity of eight persons per cottage. Do you have less persons in your group? -don't worry, you still get the cottage totally to yourselves. We often have just a couple come all by themselves - it is a very romantic retreat for lovers.

Children and babies are very welcome - our cottages are set up with littlies in mind - and we are Pet Friendly too.

NEWS FLASH -
Morvern Valley Guesthouse now also has its own extensive website - with many more photos, each cottage has a dedicated page so make sure you look to choose which cottage you like best.

There is video footage, photos of our farm animals, an Up-To-Date booking calendar, farm activities, detailed pricing, our cancellation policy and lots of information. Would you like to see the Morvern Valley website - just google it !

LARGER GROUPS
Many people book out all three cottages and visit between the cottages for BBQs and chats, sharing their country experience. The property total capacity is 24 should you book all 3 cottages.

The cottages whilst set apart and screened for your privacy are just 60 metres from each other.... so easy walking distance in between for those who have larger groups and need more than one cottage.

  • "Stayed just one night in transit but will be back for more - very happy with the rooms. Animals were friendly and gentle and our hens laid us some great eggs. Had some trouble buying Gluten Free bread in the village so reccommend to people to bring own. Glow Worm Glem interesting well worth the walk. Overall very good value and will return for a longer duration."
    Bridget, January 2012

  • "Enjoyable stay - clean, well maintained cottage with lovely view. Enjoyed the log fire, very cosy holiday. Chickens laid plenty of eggs for us. Will come back next year."

  • "What can I say? We want to move to Bundanoon! not to mention Morvern Valley!! For 'city slickers' like us that have no contact with animals, bushland, fresh air, national parks, quiet, big blue skies....this place was heaven. The farm is fantastic and our 2 year old was in paradise. The animals were adorable, the eggs fresh, the bushwalks beautiful, accommodation lovely and the feeling after 2 days here unbeatable. We will be back!!"
    Anonymous, September 2011

  • "Thank you for our 'escape to the country'. We had a wonderful time bushwalking, collecting the fresh eggs from the chooks, relaxing in front of the fire and enjoying the scenery. It really is a beautiful part of the world. Thank you for sharing it with us!"
    Margaret, June 2011

  • "Loved the welcome, quiet, and the whole area. Thought Fudge and the donkeys won our affection. Enjoyed the furnishings and greatly appreciated the digital TV reception especially a lovely open fire at night. It was just the break we needed. Dogs loved the walks looking for kindling and along the country lanes. Thanks Julie and Jason"

  • "Wow! What a truly wonderful place to stay. My whole family, including children and grandparents, from age 7 to 70 had the most fabulous time. My two boys said it was better than Queensland, their 'best trip ever'. The house was beautifully presented, the animals where so friendly and the paddock kept us entertained for hours. Many thanks, cannot wait to come back."
    Nicky, May 2011

  • "The kids loved the animals and the new friends they made, mum and dad loved the safety of the property, the comfort of the beds and the convenience of sitting on the verandah and watching the kids roam all over the countryside. The house was so well insulated the cool nights were not a problem and we didn't need the open fire - except to melt those delicious marshmallows that were left for us. Our hosts were so gracious and welcoming - it was a great get away for both the adults, dogs and kids. I will be recommending it to my friends and family."
    Toni, May 2010

  • "Great spot, fantastic hosts, and got the seal of approval from our Jack Russell dog! We arrived to a generous pile of freshly-made lamingtons which was the start of our lovely stay at Morvern Valley Guesthouse. We stayed in the cottage at the bottom of the property and helped ourselves to fresh eggs each morning for breakky. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the animals, listening to the creek running, and the birds. Super cozy, and spoilt ourselves with the spa! Will definitely be coming again."
    Suzi, March 2010

  • "You have it all - the beauty and relaxation of a country lifestyle -proximity to the great 'Aussie' bush - and a delightful family of farm animals. All that and a charming cottage to lend a group of city/town dwellers to whom it is a breath of fresh air - literally and metaphorically! Thank you. We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay - and Bundanoon is the pride of the Southern Highland Villages."
    Jane , January 2010

  • "Loved it, I'd stay again. The house was charming, the hosts were lovely. I especially miss the chickens!"
