Morvern Valley Guesthouses are on 25 acres. Half of the property is cleared, your cottage looks onto picturesque farm paddocks and then onto natural bushland, Coal Creek and the Morton National Park.
There are just three fully self contained cottages upon the 25 acres - and these are spaced well apart to ensure your full privacy. Children and Babies are very, very welcome and we do accept some pets by arrangement.
Morvern Valley was one of the Original Guesthouse Properties in Bundanoon dating back to the 1890s. Tastefully decorated with antiques and collectables from times past.
A whole cottage is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay, the Morvern Valley property is NOT home to your hosts.
Each olde worlde Country Cottage has three bedrooms, and has its own entrance from the quiet country lane, its own parking area, its own BBQ and fenced cottage garden, and even its very own hen house for egg collecting fun (the girls usually co-operate)!
The Bedrooms are beautifully furnished with each one having a unique theme. Hand Stitched Patchwork Quilts, Damask, Tartans and Plaids. Antiques, inlaid and carved wardrobes - Four Poster beds with Romantic Muslin nets.
Quality mattresses, feather doonas and electric blankets ensure your stay is cheerful and enjoyable. Quality linen is provided and the beds are already made up awaiting your arrival.
In the Lounge room there are Comfortable Sofas, enjoy the ambience of a Roaring Log Fire in a real open fireplace - there are even marshmellows provided to toast ! The entertainment cupboard holds toys, books, and many board games for all ages. Plenty of Videos, CDs and DVDs are also here to enjoy.
Morvern Valley Guesthouses have brand new bathrooms with Antique Style Fitments, Tesselated Tiles, and a Wonderful Spa for two with a heat pump - for long enjoyable spas. Towels are provided.
The Kitchen has Kauri Pine antique dresser and an antique meatsafe from the turn of (last) century. Gingham and lace tablecloths set the stage on the fabulous old kitchen table, it no doubt has many tales to tell!
But perhaps most importantly it is a fully functional Kitchen. It has a Stove with oven, Microwave, Toaster, Fridge & Freezer, Kettle, Coffee Maker - Platters and Implements, Pots and Pans. Crockery, Glassware and Cutlery is provided. Everything you will need to have you cooking up a storm.
