The house was completed in November 2012 and is architect designed by one of Sydney's leading architects. The house has 4 bedrooms on the ground floor (all have queen sized beds). 2 of the bedrooms are ensuite (one with a double rain shower and the other has a rain shower and a freestanding deep bath which looks out onto the garden and native bushland). There is a 3rd bathroom with rain shower. There is also an outdoor rain shower to rinse off after the beach. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes. 3 of the bedrooms have views over the lawned garden and out to sea. The living area is upstairs and offers an open plan kitchen and dining room and an open (gas) fire separates the living and dining rooms. The dining room has a 10 seater dining table.The ocean side of the house opens up through floor to ceiling sliding doors to a wrap around balcony and terrace which has a large outdoor dinging table where you can eat al fresco facing the sea. The opposite side of the house has a huge private deck set among the tree tops which gets sun most of the day. The deck has a water feature running the length of the deck. The property is very private - ideal if you and your guests are looking for a place to relax and unwind. The only noise is the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the rocks 50m below.
The house has views from every side, whether ocean or bushland and there is always a quiet spot (in sun or shade or cooling breeze) to sit and read or enjoy the most amazing views.
DUE TO THE UNFENCED CLIFFTOP POSITION THIS HOUSE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN.
The house is fully equipped and has everything you would expect: huge flat screen TV, WIFI, Blu ray / DVD, in ceiling speakers upstairs with ipod dock, BBQ, sun loungers, ice making fridge etc. Air con is not needed due to the house being designed to maximise airflow.
Double garage offering off street parking.
Terrigal is a 10 minute walk away (not flat) or a 3 minute drive and South Avoca with its cinema and cafes is a 15 minute walk along the long sandy beach.
