This beautiful house was built using sandstone that was cut on site by a European builder who planned to build many more in the area. But he ran out of money and was only able to build this one property as it was intended to be the example he put a lot of work into it. It is a pretty property that will provide you with lovely memories and beautiful photos.
Cosy warm atmosphere with charm. Lots of room, separate dining and spacious lounge with gas fire. Two bathrooms, one with clawfoot bath. 3 double bedrooms with electric blankets, one fold out sofa bed with sprung mattress. Perfect for families or couples with a fantastic kitchen and large garden. Continuous gas and hot water system.
Across the road are lookout views, or just sit out on the stone setting for a glimpse of Nellie's Glen Cliff opposite. 10 min walk to scenic skyway. 30 min walk to the 3 sisters and all the great walks.
This home provides ultimate luxury whilst still retaining the warmth, charm and ambience of the mountains.

The Cottage
Built from Western Australian Sandstone - sawn on site, as was the limestone for the retaining walls - the builder was lavish in his use of timber, handmade terracotta tiles and copper in his interpretation of a European chalet blending into the mist and snow of the mountains.
The lounge room boasts French doors which compliment exposed walls, timber-lined cathedral ceiling/window in this cosy area. The gas log fire and comfortable lounge invite you to enjoy the entertainment available - TV, DVD and CD player plus Pianola and games for those times when you don't wish to venture outdoors.
Formal or informal dining - the choice is yours. Alabaster wall sconces create your atmosphere, while the French doors give access to the front courtyard and sandstone setting for alfresco dining.
Location
A ten minute walk to the scenic skyway and many of the great lookouts just a stones throw away. Few minutes walk from katoomba golf course.
A five-minute drive to the Centre of Katoomba, restaurants, the Three Sisters lookout and the Scenic World. Close to all the popular bushwalks.
