  • "Our stay at Seaside Escape was very good. The house is very comfortable with everything you might need. If peace and quiet and is what you are looking for then this is the place to be. We would definately book again."

  • "We had such a relaxing little holiday at seaside escape! The house was immaculate, comfy and just like a home away from home. Glimpses of the ocean from most areas in the house make the whole experience beachy and relaxing. The location was handy a short walk for a swim at the beach and quick drive to the boat ramp at riverview for a spot of fishing. Thanks!!"

  • "We had a lovely family holiday at Elliott Heads. The cottage was lovely and clean. Everything we needed for a quiet, relaxed break. We took our boat on Elliott Heads - it was magic fishing, swimming cruising up the river. We spotted a Fish Eagle and a huge nest. Lovely holiday and our dog had a great time too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a complete break!"

  • "We had the best part of our 5 week holiday in Australia at Seaside Escape. Judy was so helpful in picking us up and taking us out to the cottage. We really had no idea it was that far from Bundaberg, but she brought us back in to pick up groceries and took us back out again! Greg, one of the other owners, came for a visit and took Brian golfing. The water was crystal clear and the lifeguarded beach felt very safe. We loved the quiet, broken only by birdsong usually, and the cottage was well-equipped. I was enamoured by the birds and Greg lent me an Australian bird guide to help me identify them. The walk along the esplanade was beautiful every morning. The local bus driver was a very helpful man who dropped us off at the Botanical Gardens on the other leg of his route, and them had a transit map for me the next day when we boarded the bus again. We ended up renting a car as we were too isolated without one. There was no phone in the cottage, surprisingly, as everyone there has cell phones, but we made do with the payphone at the local take-away. Brian wants to retire in Elliot Heads. I would happily go back for another vacation to Seaside Escape, but its not likely given we live in Canada. Doesn't hurt to dream though."

  • "Great little house in a nice seaside town. We had three kids under 4 and it was well secured with kid barriers and even a little kids table. You can also walk straight into the bathroom from outside after coming from the beach/river. Had a great time!"

  • "We (three adults plus our boxer, Nellie) had a most peaceful and enjoyable stay at Seaside Escape over a long weekend. The cottage was quaint, neat and well equipped with modern appliances, and there was a very pleasant sea breeze. It is well situated with a short walk to the beach and close to the ocean-side promenade that also provides an enjoyable walk."

  • "This holiday was exactly what we were promised. In the house we had all the facilities we needed to relax. The house was rustic enough to still be a beach house but designed well enough that we all had space and the conveniences we needed to not stress out such as cable TV,BBQ, clothes drier, dishwasher etc. Kids had a ball and dad and i didnt want to leave . The owners were great. They were flexible, helpful and easy to communicate with. And the summer breeze and the view is worth millions. We took our boat andwent fishing in the river, the kids walked to the beach daily for a swim and an icecream. the locals were also very friendly and happy to point out interesting places to go. Definitely booking again. best value for money"
