The house has a cosy and inviting lounge, the kitchen is well equipped and the relaxing atmosphere invites a slower pace. A large deck flows from the lounge & brings the garden into the living space. There is a cubby house/art studio at the bottom of the garden and a table tennis table under the upper deck. Beds consist of 1 double bed upstairs, 1 room with twin beds and 1 room with bunks plus a fold out divan in the lounge in this charming 3 bedroom home. The house is cooled by ceiling fans and lovely sea breezes in summer & is easily heated for cosy warm winter escapes.
A few minutes walk takes you to a safe and fantastic swimming beach with sand dunes, rock pools, fishing spots, bird colonies and wildlife in beautiful coastal bushland. Enjoy a sunset view from the Grossard Point lookout at the end of our street.
A variety of sea birds can be found at our beach and include shearwaters (mutton birds), the endangered hooded plover and even little penguins can sometimes be seen. In the garden - magpies, wattle birds, lorikeets and rosellas like to enjoy the fruit trees and native shrubs.
The house is close to the famous Penguin Parade & the Nobbies. The island's surf beaches are only a short drive away - as are the many other wonderful natural attractions that Phillip Island has to offer.
In Ventnor there is a convenient general store plus there is a gourmet butcher and organic green grocer at a local farm. The Phillip Island Winery is located a short distance away - where you can taste local wines, enjoy gourmet platters and be entertained by live music. The bustling township of Cowes is only a few minutes drive away where there is a wide range of restaurants and shops.
Special event buses stop near the house during major events on the island.

Dogs are welcome.
House trained dogs are welcome inside at Adrift at Ventnor. There is a large, fully fenced garden and undercover deck.
The section of beach at the end of our street allows dogs all year round (in summer there are some time of day restrictions). It is only a short stroll from the house to the off leash beach where dogs can run and enjoy the water at any time of day in all seasons.
