Description
Bogong Village is nestled in the mountains, midway between Mt Beauty and Falls Creek, in North East Victoria.
The village comprises twenty six historic houses originally built for the workers on the Kiewa hydro-electric scheme. Each house sits on the side of a spectacular valley overlooking the beautiful Lake Guy, while the Victorian Alps form the background.
Bogong Village is uniquely set amongst seasonal European gardens, yet surrounded by the Alpine National Park. Accordingly, the Village is "one of a kind", you'll be hard pressed to find something as unique anywhere else in Australia.
This is a place to escape to in all seasons. The European village gardens are ablaze with growth in spring, are cool and leafy green in summer and then transform to give a spectacular colourful display in Autumn.
A centrally located tavern provides a welcome country atmosphere, hearty meals and ice cold beer. And if you don't feel like cooking yourself, the chef might even cook that big trout you catch!
Accommodation
26 cottages, sleeping from 2 to 8 people, nestled in an intimate Village environment amongst mature European gardens.
The two, three and four bedroom houses are similar on the outside but very different on the inside as they are all individually owned. Each are independently classified by the AAA star rating system reflecting the levels of accommodation. Houses range from 3 star to 4.5 stars.
Each season the Village offers something different, currently winter has brought lots of snow flakes and some great skiing opportunities at Falls Creek...
For the Ski Season
Only 20 minutes from the slopes, Bogong Village offers the best of both worlds; off mountain prices with on mountain accessability.

Finally, all houses have heating throughout (many with fireplaces), drying rooms, laundry facilities and ample parking.
