The Palm Cove Tropical House is a privately owned vacation rental holiday home. Cairns is nearby and Palm Cove Beach just a stroll away. An excellent family tropical holiday house in the centre of Palm Cove Village. Spacious and comfortable, imagine yourself lazing on a recliner around the swimming pool, listening to the sound of rainforest birds singing in the surrounding melaleuca trees or you sip a cocktail while you put on a CD and relax.

There are 4 large bedrooms in the single story tropical style house, and an enormous open plan living room complete with a fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room area and large comfortable lounge. There is an additonal rumpus room complete with toy cupboard. Double doors leading straight to the large in ground pool.The pool is fully fenced for child safety. Relax with a drink or have a barbecue by the pool.

Palm Cove Tropical House has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The design is clean and modern with a contemporary colonial theme. It has its own large private swimming pool and pool spa in tropical garden surroundings conveniently built right outside the kitchen servery window. You can sit around the pool in the huge outdoor entertainment area or in the pool spa itself and take in the views of the mountains and rainforest backdrop, before strolling out to the beach for a swim or dinner.
The master bedroom is a huge parents retreat with an ensuite bathroom containing spa bath and twin glass overcounter vanity basins. There are glass panelled sliding doors opening out directly onto the landscaped pool area. All the bedrooms have air-conditioning, fans and built in robes.
There are 2 separate large indoor living areas and two outdoor recreational areas plus the front and rear gardens/lawns areas.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PALM COVE TROPICAL HOUSE
Palm Cove and Cairns Great barrier Reef Accomodation:
Entering the main house through the cosy front porch, one finds oneself inside a light and airy modern tropical house where extra tall windows and silky oak doors permit air to flow freely. There is a cool ambience throughout.
Inside the first area is the huge open plan FULLY EQUIPPED kitchen/ lounge area has a new kitchen complete with granite benchtops, and contemporary designer cupboards. The large breakfast bar and large kitchen window servery overlooking the pool are ideal for those early morning snacks or a late afternoon drink. The built in appliances are stainless steel.
There are large bifolding glass doors which open out from the lounge into the poolside barbecue area. Thus mergeing seamlessly the outdoors with the indoors.There is a separate dining room which has been colour co-ordinated by an interior designer to enhance that intimate dinning experience.
The 2nd indoor living area / rumpus room opens directly out onto the pool. We have a selection of toys and games for the kids. This area is specially conveneient close to the kids bedroom and the main bathroom.
The massive master bedroom and parents retreat has a row of built ins and 2 large sliding wooden doors with glass panels leading to an outdoor dining area and the pool. This has a Queen size bed. It has an ensuite bathroom complete with spa bath, shower head and twin Italian glass above counter washbasins, Stone Italiana vanity top and contemporary style stainless steel fittings. You can shower while taking in the rainforest views from the bathroom window. This is true tropical lifestyle!
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th bedroom are at the other end of the house near the main bathroom.
The 2nd bedroom has a double bed, the 3rd bedroom contains 2 singles( as bunk beds) and the 4th bedroom is located at the rear of the house with its own exit to the rear garden lawn and has a Queen size bed. All bedrooms rooms have built in cupboards and air conditioning.
The main bathroom is designed in a contemporary colonial style with travertine marble floor tiles and huge Italian white wall tiles. There is a shower and over counter ( but low enough for the kids ) sink. There is a door opening directly into the paved pool area so it is easy to shower straight after swimming.
The advantage of the house layout is that there is plenty of space and many separate seating and living areas. The tropical pool and garden have a lovely barbecue area where you can just relax with a drink, or even in the pool as it has its own spa. The shady front porch is also a great place to unwind and relax with a drink at any time of the day.
The house is equipped wit a TV, Hi Fi, and DVD player . You can also BYO own music CD's and DVDs.

CAIRNS - THE GREAT BARRIER REEF. 25 MIN DRIVE TO REEF FLEET TERMINAL OR 5 MINS TO GREEN ISLAND JETTY ( WALKING)
Anything you could possibly wish for while on holiday, can be found at Palm Cove. Reef trips for diving, snorkelling and relaxing. For the sporting enthusiast there are 2 golf courses, Paradise Palms for the pro and Novotel 9 hole for the family. Fishing off Palm Cove jetty, tennis, swimming, hot air ballooning.
