Description

*** As featured in "Out and About with Kids" Magazine, Spring 08 Issue. ***

Amazing outlook from a very private Beach Front Cottage, overlooking Frederick Henry Bay and Carlton Beach. The property enjoys over 50 meters of beach frontage, with only a narrow reserve of sand dunes between the cottage and the beach. The property also has a good degree of privacy and gate in front of the deck leads to a path directly to the beach.

Relax on the large deck to enjoy watching the local surfers (& kite surfers), along with the local wildlife (birds in abundance). Watch the sun go down from the deck, with a glass of wine, then fall to sleep with the sound of waves crashing on the beach.

Two Bedroom (Main Bedroom with a very comfortable Queen bed). Second Bedroom with a bunk bed - double on the bottom and single on the top. Great for 2 couples traveling together or plenty of room for the family (pets welcome as well).

Other facilities include; One bathroom with seperate shower bay and a bath. There is a front loading washing machine located in this area too. Seperate Toilet (WC). A fully equipped kitchen. Inverter Heat Pump for year round comfort (Air Cond & Heating), and a wood fire heater to snuggle up in front of on those romantic winter evenings.

Also provided is Satellite TV channels, with a wide variety of channels. There is a selection of DVD's & CD's to enjoy as well.

Locality

Only 35 minutes from Hobart City.
15 Minutes from the Hobart Airport.
A fantastic base to explore the Tasman Peninsular (Port Arthur - 45 Minutes) and Coal River Valley region (Wineries & Richmond Village - 30 Minutes).

Property

Direct access to Carlton Beach via a short path through the dunes. Carlton Beach is a great beginners/intermediate surf beach, which is also very safe for swimming. The beach is patrolled over Summer school holidays & Weekends by the local Surf Live Savers Club.

Boat Ramp just down the road.
Mullet Cafe just across the road (great coffee's!)
3 Minutes to local shops/bakery/take-away store.
3 Golf Courses nearby (Lewisham, Dunalley, Seven Mile Beach).
