Warrarong means “on the side of a hill” and this gorgeous beach cottage is on the side of the hill over-looking beautiful Black Head Beach, Hallidays Point on Australia’s Mid North Coast. Just over 3 hours drive north from Sydney on the Pacific Highway (predominantly dual carriage-way), the setting is ideal for a quite escape to peace and tranquility, disturbed only by bird and ocean noises.
Warrarong has ocean views (and sounds) from the kitchen, main bedroom, living/lounge as well as from the large timber verandah which wraps around the front of the house beside an ancient frangipani tree. The house is cool in summer and warm in winter with wood burning enclosed fire-place and an outdoor wood burning barbecue on the spacious paved patio which nestles into a large and attractive garden.
The house has access from two different streets which shelter it from nearby neighbours making it an ideal location for a work retreat, writing, reading, creating or just relaxing to the sound of the ocean.
Accommodates six.

Local stores are also within walking distance of the house and can supply your basic needs, The Blackhead Bowling Club and local tavern (also within walking distance) offer a variety of entertainment options. Several golfing facilities, including the world class Tallwoods, are within a 5-20 minute drive and the tennis courts are just down the hill.
When you need a taste of town-life beautiful Forster/Tuncurry at the top of the Great Lakes is just 15 minutes drive south offering restaurants, shopping, fishing, boating and a wide range of activities. Taree, the regional centre, is 20 minutes north offering a larger range of shopping and facilities and activities on the Manning River.
