We are on 100 acres of beautiful unspoilt land full of wildlife. They are two houses on the property. One is ours and an other huge one that we rent out. We can also rent both houses together but it will have to be arranged beforehand, this house is beautiful but only for a couple as there is only one bedroom upstairs! We are happy for you to bring Dogs, even Horses, but we don't have stables. The property is fenced but only to keep the cows from destroying the gardens! There is plenty of room for them to roam, and they are allowed to run and swim on some of the most spectacular beaches (outside of the National Park). Such as Delicate Nobby, Limeburners.
Wild horses on the property, Kangaroos and Wallabies, goannas and an amazing variety of Birds. Beautiful walks all around, in the Wetlands and surrounds.
The Kids can run safely and freely.
NB: Dogs not allowed in the National Park. Motorbikes not allowed on property and the surrounds.
Amazing surfing, walking and fishing, golf course in Crescent Head. This area is renowned for Birdwatching
Enjoy secluded beaches. From June to October is Whale Watching season so bring your binoculars and watch from the beach.
Crescent Head and surrounding areas are unspoilt and are a reminder of places such as Noosa in days gone by. Friendly and small, Crescent Head is a delight. Don't expect to see a MacDonalds or Bi Lo.
The Barn accommodation is unusual. It consists of an enormous loft, divided into 2 double bedrooms plus a landing. Master bedroom has 1 Queen Bed, the other bedroom has 1 Queen Bed plus 2 bunks, and the other one is open plan landing at the top of the staris with 1 Queen Bed and 1 King single.. We also have one sofabed downstairs.You can bring your own towels and linen, queen sizes, king single and double for the sofa bed and pillow cases, we provide duvets and pillows. If you prefer, we can provide you with linen @ $20 extra per bed.
There is an adjacent room downstairs with a log fireplace(beautiful and cosy in the winter months). The sofa bed is in that room. This sitting, lounging around is beautiful and pituresque. Enjoy!
We are in the process of building another bathroom in the Barn with another shower, wash base, toilet and washing machine, but it will be ready after the new year). In the meantime we have 2 Bathrooms( one in the Barn that you will be renting and the other one is accross the lawn in the other house. Even though the main house will be locked the bathroom area will be open for you) with a shower, wash base and a toilet and a washing machine, and we also have 2 outside showers which are especially good for surfers or anyone coming from the beach with sandy feet etc...If they are a lot of you, we can open the other bathroom in the other property that we do not let out. Just ask beforehand.
There are 2 barbecues outside, a real one with wood that you would have to collect around the property and also a gas one outside the veranda.
Paperbark Surf Retreat is fantastic for families with Dogs and Horses wanting to enjoy time together. The beach welcomes both dogs and horses!
It offers basic, clean and simple accommodation with all amenities, the main focus on being outside and enjoying total freedom and peace.
NB: There is a manager/handyman permanently available around the property, my neighbour and good friend Warrick. You wont see him unless you need him. His mobile number will be given to you when you rent the property.
