Magnificent Atlantis Marcoola has a wide range of facilities encompassed in three acres of tropically landscaped gardens. Plunge into the heated thirty metre lagoon style pool. Relax in the spa. Play tennis or basketball or stroll to the magically secluded Discovery Beach. Your children have the option of playing in the kiddie’s playground, splashing around in the toddler’s pool or spending time in the game’s room.

Location

We are located on David Low Way, the coast road which runs between the Maroochy River and Noosa. We are situated 8Km South of Coolum, 10km North of Maroochydore, right in the centre of the Sunshine Coast.

Coming from the North or South, stay on the Bruce Highway until you reach the Bli Bli exit (there will also be airport signs). Follow the Bli Bli Road until you come to a roundabout. Turn left into David Low Way and follow the road until you find Atlantis on the right. Some landmarks will be the Bli Bli Castle, where you turn left. You will come to a set of traffic lights in Pacific Paradise, keep going straight. You will pass the Sunshine Coast Airport about 4km before you reach us. Local Attractions

Discovery Beach is our major attraction. An untouched, pristine beach stretching from Pt Arkwright in the north to the mouth of the Maroochy River in the south. The beach is patrolled right out the front from September to May.

In the immediate area we have plenty of facilities. For a great a la carte dinner there is Gecko restaurant just a short stroll up the beachfront. The Scubar is a hotel with gaming room and TAB and counter meals. There is a well stocked gift store within a two minute walk, two day spas and three salons also within walking distance. We have great fish & chips, pizza and Chinese across the road, a video store, organic fruit & veg, all the fishing gear you could ever use and a bakery and mini market who provide beautiful fresh food and friendly service.

A little further afield, you have the choice of three fabulous golf courses, two of them international standard, within 5 minutes by car. Drive to Mount Coolum and walk to the top for breathtaking views. A twenty minute drive will see you in Noosa or at the Eumundi Markets, with Montville and Caloundra about 25 minutes by car.

The Sunshine Coast offers lots of family attractions such as Unerwater World, Australia Zoo, the Big Kart track, the Big Pineapple, Aussie World and Ettamogah Pub. Try wake boarding at Ski and Skurf or fish for barramundi at the Aussie Fishing Park.

The waterways are great for kayaking, fishing or cruising with many other watersports available. Scuba World can help you with all your diving needs and offer regular boat dives. Try tandem skydiving and land on the beach at Caloundra.
