Algonquin (meaning "they are our relatives") is a very spacious home on 3.5 acres in the gorgeous Burralong Valley-near Wollombi. It is perfectly furnished so that you and your family and friends can relax, unwind and enjoy all the beauty around you. It is close enough to the wineries of the Hunter Valley that it is an easy drive for an afternoon visit and time to enjoy the pretty villages you encounter on the way. (Wollombi and Laguna) If you're lucky you might even see one of the elusive platypus in Wollombi Creek-which gracefully winds by the front of the property.

Lots of outdoor activities within easy walking distance and a living area large enough for all of us to be in without tripping over each other kept us entertained. The kids loved the farm animals on nearby properties and the neighbours were friendly enough to invite us over to pet them. A perfect weekend getaway."
