SEFTON HOUSE is a unique Australian Historical experience and goes back in history to the gold rush era, droving, Hume and Hovell explorers, Snowy Mountains scheme etc. Whilst staying at SEFTON HOUSE you can walk to shops, cafes, Tumut River Fihing, clubs, parks and gardens, swimming pool etc. If you wish to drive, Mt Selwyn Skiing fields are only 1 hour from SEFTON HOUSE. The entrance to Blowering Dam, Yarrangobilly Caves and Kosciusko National Park is only 10 minutes from SEFTON HOUSE. You can visit the power station, go fishing, bushwalking, bird watching,snow and water skiing, caving, thermal pool swimming,etc. Tumut is surounded by the quaint sister towns of Talbingo, Batlow, Adelong, Gundagai and Tumbarrumba, which all have their own charm, heritage and culture. Tumut is the main town and offers the most shopping, medical facilities and all other day to day necessities.
