Guest Reviews
We had an absolutely fantastic time at The Hideaway. I shouldn't praise it too much out of fear that it will be booked out all year long, but the owners deserve the praise. Maureen has been very forthcoming with providing me with information about the area and making sure everything is perfect. I had my parents over from overseas and a 14 month old daughter who loved all the toys, the soft carpets inhouse and the cot provided by the owners. It was fantastic for us that the house was childproof so we don't have to worry. The beach is picture perfect and just 2 minutes away and a lot of local birds visited us which was a delight to show to my parent. It's a beautiful place for a holiday and all of us who have been there will have great memories for a very long time!

We stayed at the Hideaway with another couple over the labout day long weekend ... plenty of space .. the amenities were great .... the very friendly possum and kookaburras were an added extra ... handy to the beach ... and a short bike ride away to the town ... we are already planning when we can get back there ... Thanks

What a top spot. We had a great weekend. The kitchen was fantastic and helped us produce a couple of great meals, the rest was homely and welcoming. The hideaway really made our weekend away special. Not enough time this time but we'll definately be back.

What a top spot. The house had a great atmosphere and we took advantage of all it had to offer - especially the kitchen. We felt right at home. All of the attractions of the area were within easy reach. Fantastic and relaxing weekend.

Fantastic location just minutes from Greenfields beach which had great rockpools for exploring with the kids. The birdlife in the bush and the rabbits next door were also great entertainment.

The house was beautifully furnished, particularly the bathroom. It was great to have a kitchen that was so well equipped with all the utensils and condiments you could need. There was even a recipe for the perfect pancakes for a leisurely Sunday morning breakfast!

We found the house great for our two young children as it had highchairs, portacots and even books and toys for the not so sunny days. The local leisure centre was also a great find and great for littlies.

Comforable, quiet haven close to a beautiful beach and a pleasant amble through national park to a cafe serving excellent coffee should you require a caffeine hit. Daily visitors to the veranda include Kookaburra's, lorrikeet’s and even a possum!

Wonderful quiet location close to an exceptional beach, Greenfields Beach, with only a short walk to Chinaman's Beach or Blenheim Beach.
Helen - November 2006
The house is immaculate and extremely comfortable and the location is second to none, Greenfield Beach is sublime! A wonderful place to stay with owners Maureen and Jorgen making sure you have everything you need for your beach holiday. We'll be back!

A beautiful house in a great location. Just a couple of minutes walk to a pristine beach, the only sounds you can hear are the birds and the waves. We strongly recommend this house :-)
