Rosella Cottage

Description

Rosella Cottage is a modern two-bedroom rural cottage with comfortable accommodation for up to six adults, or a small family. A fully equipped kitchen provides meals for an open plan living area complete with open fireplace. Plenty of room to bring your boat and lots of open space for the kids to run around in. The house is equipped with a reverse cycle airconditioner/heater - just in case the weather is anything other than sheer perfection. A wood-fired barbeque and full laundry facilities are also included in this slice of the Great Aussie Bush. Walkerville North Beach is a scenic 20 minute walk through National Park, or a 2 minute drive away.
The cottage contains two bedrooms each with queen size beds and two couches in the living area that convert to comfortable large single beds

The Area

Located only 20kms from the entrance to Wilsons Promontory National Park in the small coastal community of Walkerville. Walk out the door each morning to see flocks of crimson rosellas, koalas in the gum trees or the echidnas and wombats that frequent the area.

South Gippsland is about 2 hours from Melbourne with Wilsons Promontory being the southernmost point of mainland Australia. Situated in a village consisting of mainly holiday homes this provides a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The town of Foster is a nearby rural centre with markets displaying local artisans' wares and the best fresh produce of the area.
