  • "Our family of 6 had a wonderful time. The house was very tidy and comfortable and we thought the price was very reasonable too. Thanks for letting us stay."

  • "Our family had a lovely relaxing holiday at Kookaburra Cottage. We just loved eating our breakfast on the deck and enjoying many a BBQ in the evening. The kids just loved the big expansive backyard and exploring the garden. The kayaks were also great fun - my husband even caught some fish whilst kayaking in the Lake!! The cottage is in a great location - so close to the Lake and only a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in NSW. Thank you Kookaburra Cottage!!"

  • "Kookaburra Cottage is light, airy and very comfortable. It has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and the house throughout is well maintained. We spent much of our time sitting reading on the deck, enjoying the privacy, and gentle sunlight. Lovely big stretch of lawn, with bush at bottom of garden. "

  • "Thank you so much for letting us stay at Kookaburra Cottage, it was such a beautiful place set amongst a gorgeous location. It felt like it was the first time in a long time that we'd had a chance to relax & we'd love to come back to Smiths Lake again! Thanks again :) "

  • "We had a wonderfully relaxing time at Kookaburra Cottage. The cottage was lovely and just perfect for a family of 4 - the children especially loved the big garden with all its wildlife. A great place to stay in a gorgeous part of the world!"

  • "What a wonderful, relaxing and tranquil place. The owners have created a lovely ambience. The pictures depict it as it is - the house has a fantastic tropical back deck and gardens - a real haven to unwind and great yard for children and an outdoor snooze! The house has thoughtfully been renovated and is very comfortable, well presented and immaculate. Its only a short distance to lots of outdoor activities and watersports - large expanses of water ideal for kids and adults. Smiths Lake is an uncommercialised gem where you can also get a reasonable cuppaccino."

  • "My husband and 17 month old son and I had a great stay at Kookaburra Cottage - the house and backyard were great for our energetic toddler. We all loved the visits from the kookaburras and the local peacock to the backyard while we had breakfast on the deck! It's a convenient location for access to Smith's Lake, Cellito Beach and the other attractions of the area. Hopefully we'll be back soon for another relaxing holiday!"
