History
Ranelagh was built in 1875 for Joshua Gill who wished to accommodate his large family of 10 children. Ranelagh was built in a stately manner, which is unrivalled in Dubbo, even by today's standards, to reflect Gills status as a prosperous local merchant. Gill owned the first general store in Dubbo, The Overland Store.
Conveniently located 2 kms from cbd and Dubbos main tourist attractions including Western Plains Zoo, The Old Dubbo Jail, Dubbos 27 hole championship golf course and lots more.
