Kewarra Gardens is located in Kewarra Street, Kewarra Beach. The house is 50 metres to the beach in its own private oasis of 2,000 square metres of land surrounded on two sides by a beautiful flora and fauna reserve which is the habitat of an abundance of wildlife. Listen and watch the sunbirds, kookaburras or satin bowerbirds from the porch as you have your breakfast in the morning.
Swim in the salt water pool as the blue Ulysses butterflies dance above you. Fred, the resident goanna may call in to join you for lunch. He's always looking for a scrap or two. Take a stroll along the beach at sunset and watch the changing colours over the horizon or wait till the full moon appears as large as life or just float in the pool at night and wonder up at the stars.
At the northern end of the beach is a children's playground and gas barbecue area provided by the council for your convenience. The resort at the end of the street also has a restaurant and bar facilities. Palm Cove is an 8 minute drive by car or a leisurely stroll along the beach. You will find many restaurants there including a tavern that caters for families. Trinity Beach is just around the corner and also has restaurants and shops. There are two shopping centres a few minutes by car from the house. One is Clifton Village which has a variety of shops and restaurants and the other Smithfield.
Kewarra Gardens is on the quiet side of Kewarra Street and a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Just cross the street and walk down the pathway and you are on the beach.
