Description
A newly renovated 4 bedroom cottage that can sleep 9. Kitchen has all s/steel appliances including dishwasher, lounge has large TV with DVD and surround sound home theatre system, a second TV and video in the dining room. Outdoor undercover BBQ area and a beautiful verandah that wraps around the side and front of the house. The back yard is huge that can accommodate off street parking for cars and boats. The bedrooms are configured as follows;
BED 1- Queen bed;
BED 2- Queen on bottom and single on top
BED 3- Single bunk
BED 4- Single Bunk
The house is fully refurbished with all new modern furnishings and appliances, this is our family holiday accommodation that we wish to share with you.
As the name suggests it is situated only a “Hop Skip and Jump" to all Currarong and the surrounding area has to offer.
Currarong
Currarong is 2.5 hours south of Sydney and 3 hours from Canberra on the northern headland of Jervis Bay. Currarong has a population of approx 200 residents, it is a beautiful seaside village that has been unspoilt by other urban environments, there are no high rise buildings, all things are simple but well catered for the relaxing city getaway. Currarong village is surrounded by Jervis Bay Marine National Park. Dogs are permitted on certain beaches at certain times. There is so much to do, swimming/surfing at the cleanest beaches on the coast, numerous bush walks on Beecroft Peninsular or on the southern side of the headland around Pt Perpendicular and Jervis Bay. Access to Jervis Bay beaches such as Honeymoon Bay, Target and my favourite Cabbage Tree is through land owned by the Department of Defence, sometimes access is only permitted during weekends, school and public holidays. If you are into fishing/boating again there is plenty of spots for everyone's abilities.
Or just relax on our verandah and take in the sights whilst enjoying a refreshment.
Cooler months, laze about on the sunny verandah or enjoy the combustion wood fire with a book or DVD (small selection available in house). Currarong has a Newsagent, Seafood take away or dine in, General store/take away, Bottle shop and a Bowling club with dining room. All within a very short walk from the house. Currarong has got the lot.
Pricing / Further information
Pets are welcome, outside only, No smoking in the house. All beds have a doona & cover and pillows, you must provide your own linen/towels.
A $300.00 security bond is payble per booking and this is fully refunded within 14 days of departure providing the property is left in the same condition as when you arrived.
