Tizzana Winery Bed and Breakfast

A tranquil setting offering luxurious 5 star accommodation. Tizzana is a National Trust listed building (C1887). It is an imposing two-storied building with a Mediterranean feel, built of local sandstone . It is set in a peaceful valley and overlooks a pond of water lilies and vineyards. A unique working winery and vineyard with a fascinating contribution to early Australian Viticulture.

Tizzana emphasises local seasonal food in all meals prepared. Breakfast is as minimal or as extravagant as you require. Using ingredients such as home grown eggs, local chevre cheese from Willowbrae Chevre Cheese Farm and salmon from the Windsor Smoke House, fresh herbs from the garden accompany some of the many dishes from which to choose . Our menu offers variety and dishes that suit most requests. Vegetarians and those with particular allergies are especially catered for.

Dinner is as casual or romantic as the guests requires. The main meal is designed around your selection of main course. This selection can be one of the following dishes - vegetarian, chicken, beef, lamb, pork or salmon. We offer hors d'oeuvres, entree, salad, mains, dessert, followed by coffee, teas and chocolates. From your choice of main, we will craft the accompanied dishes to suit the time of year and produce available. Drinks are included in the package.

Dinners or picnic hampers by prior arrangement. The premises are fully licensed.

Location, location, location

Tizzana is just 15 minutes from Windsor, an historic town in Sydney’s rural fringe, or just over an hour from Sydney CBD.

The region is surrounded by National Parks including the World Heritage Greater Blue Mountains National Park and Wollemi wilderness. The Putty road, one of the major routes to the Upper Hunter Valley vineyards, is close by.
