They are equipped with air-conditioners, one reverse cycle, the other cottage has ducted heating as well. There are TVs, Videos, DVD & CD player with a selection of movies, music, books and magazines. Espresso Coffee makers, fridges, microwaves, fresh ground coffee, loose leaf teas. Even internet access if you must!

A Cottage in the Forest offers you an open fire, huge spa, full kitchen & heaps of privacy is just 2kms away on 1 acre of forested land. Lie in the king bed and gaze out at the treeferns, or curl up with your loved one by the open fire with a glass of Yarra Valley bubbly. Open plan in style and simply beautiful!

A cottage in Sassafras - Clare Cottage is a wonderful 2 bedroom cottage, open plan downstairs with full kitchen, bathroom with spa with a view to ferns, upstairs 2 queen bedrooms looking out into the treetops. Of course there is a wood fire (Coonara) and central heating, books, magazines, TV, DVDs and the essential coffee maker!

A Cottage in the Village

A delightful cottage, just like a Gingerbread House! Wonderful heritage characters such as lead light windows give a wonderful ambience to the cottage.

Open plan in style, this Cottage has a lounge area with brick floors, an open fire and a high pitched ceiling. The kitchen and separate bathroom are on this level too - the bathroom having a double shower, vanity and toilet.

Then down two beautiful timber steps to the bedroom area which has polished board floors, and iron half-tester bed and a two person spa bath which features a glass ceiling above it for star gazing at night - you can also look at the open fire from the bath. A pair of French doors lead out into a private courtyard.

Candlelight Cottage

Over the bridge and through the delightful lush gardens, Candlight Cottage (c1890) is a beautiful historic and original "hills cottage" with leadlight windows, timber and brick floors. Newly renovated in February, 2011, this historic cottage offers genuine open fire in the lounge room & is supplemented by cosy central heating. The bathroom has a separate shower, a large corner spa that looks out to the pink and white camellias in the private back garden. The overhead glass ceiling adds light and sparkle at night.

There is a full kitchen with a delightful sunny dining areain this cottage and a second bedroom is available. A laundry has been added for longer stays. Children most welcome. Well behaved pets also welcome.

A Cottage in the Forest is between Sassafras & Olinda villages and has an open fire, king bed, huge spa bath.

Clare Cottage is closer to Sassafras and can accommodate 4 guests in 2 queen bedrooms.
