Our comfortably furnished two bedroom cottage has a prime position overlooking the 7th fairway of the Kangaroo Valley Golf & Country Club. With spectacular views towards the towering cliffs of the escarpment and over the lake on the course, Blue Gums Cottage offers a unique escape. It will appeal both to golfers looking to step directly onto the fairway or those just after a beautiful and tranquil spot to re-charge the batteries.
As an added bonus enjoy the resort facilities including swimming pool, tennis courts, picnic areas and gas barbecues scattered around the property's 80 acres of natural bushland. The views down the valley from the property will simply take your breath away and in winter the early morning mists will re-vitalize and invigorate your senses.
Many varieties of wildlife roam freely around the resort including wallabies, wombats, possums and native Australian birds such as kookaburras, kingfishers, king parrots, whip birds, swans and pelicans. Chances are you will come up close and personal with any number of the native residents in their natural habitats who always prove to be a great hit with both children and adults alike.
We can accommodate up to 6 persons with bedding comprising Q/S in both main and second bedroom, where there are also 2 additional bunks. Kitchen is fully equipped and the living room is open plan leading onto the large deck with its expansive views. The cottage has split-system air-conditioning for comfort in all climates.
There is everything you will need at Blue Gums plus those little extra touches of comfort, that will make your stay as a couple, family or small group of friends that little extra bit special.
Blue Gums Cottage is a privately owned property on the resort where you book directly with the owners so we can guarantee you personal and speedy attention to all your inquiries and the highest level of comfort and facilities when you visit.
Kangaroo Valley
Kangaroo Valley is a picturesque, National Trust classified village, located 2 hours south of Sydney via the Princes Highway and Berry or inland via the M7 - M5 and Mittagong / Bowral. It is nestled between the mountain escarpments of the South Coast and Southern Highlands. A uniquely beautiful part of the state, the area is characterised by a patchwork of farms, rainforest, rivers, waterfalls and amazing panoramic views. The valley is almost entirely surrounded by sheer sandstone cliffs and is one of only 7 fully-enclosed valleys in the world.
Kangaroo Valley village, located a short drive from the cottage, offers a treat of craft shops, good food and quaint tea rooms.
About 30 minutes to Bowral & Robertson & 15 minutes to Berry. Easy driving distance to the local Yarrawa and Camberwarra wineries and the beautiful beaches of Jervis Bay.
Plenty to do and great food too
Whether you are after more active pursuits such as golf at your front door, tennis, canoeing, swimming, bush-walking or simply want to take it easy with a good book and nice company, Blue Gums at the Kangaroo Valley Country Club has it. You can enjoy a BBQ in the park-like grounds, drop by the golf club restaurant or take the short drive into Kangaroo Valley to enjoy any of the villages very fine restaurants or quaint country pub.
For breakfast, if you don't want to bother to cook yourselves, you can stroll down to the club house restaurant and have them do up a country breakfast for you (weekends only).
The pristine beaches of Jervis Bay are just a 30-40 minutes drive or you have the resort pool and tennis courts at your door step.
GIFT VOUCHERS AVAILABLE. Give a weekend away as a gift to that special couple.

I have never been one for wanting to go to the same place twice, but I have to say there is a first time for everything. Blue Gums is beautiful, it's so relaxing, peaceful and comfortable. It has everything you need and is on the doorstep of some lovely bush walks with stunning peaceful views. In Kangaroo Valley there is a Bistro and a great pub with good food which had live music both Friday and Saturday night. I would love to visit again.

From the minute we made an enquiry of rates and availability to the time we left, we found dealing with Phill very easy and experienced no issues, the directions to the property were spot on as well.
we found the cabin to be extreemly clean and user friendly, we positioned not to far from town and not to close either. The views over the golf course and the wildlife made the weekend a realy relaxing one, just what we needed.
i will be booking another weekend stay in the near future, it was well worth it.
i would recommend it to anyone, even if you do not play Golf.

Staying at Blue Gums cottage was peaceful, relaxing and highly enjoyable. The cabin was cozy with a gorgeous sunny balcony for morning breakfasts and afternoon drinks. The early morning misty outlook up to ridge and over the golf course was stunning to arise to, and having all cooking facilities and equipment meant we could enjoy the place as our own for the weekend. The facilities of the resort were easily accessible, and the "resident" kangaroos were sighted on a daily basis around the golf course. My only regret is we didn't stay longer!

Blue Gum #12 was a great place for a special holiday. We were very impressed with the accommodation and everything you could possibly need seemed to be at hand. It was extremely comfortable and clean, and allowed us to kick-back and enjoy ourselves: tennis, bike riding, shopping, dining, a day trip to Berry. We ordered the Feast.com breakfast for two and there it was, in the fridge and waiting when we arrived. Good stuff, indeed. Blue Gum is in a lovely setting and we'd recommend it to anyone. We enjoyed everything about Blue Gums Cottage during our recent two night stay.
The location is both peaceful and picturesque.
It is only a short drive from the village and is a great place to either relax or be active or both. We made use of the tennis courts and would have used the pool had we not enjoyed a swim in the river following our kayak down the rapids.
We are not golfers but the course was very popular. Maybe next time!
The cottage was well equipped, extremely clean and very comfortable - especially the beds.
The restaurant at the resort is closed currently so I cannot offer an opinion on it. We self catered the first night and had planned to dine out the second. However we were too relaxed/tired and opted for take away.
We thoruoghly recommend a break away at Blue Gums Cottage.
We found the tourist drive from Berry very narrow with lots of hairpin bends so took Moss Vale Rd via Nowra on the return trip. It was a little longer but a much easier drive.

A lovely place to stay. Clean, tasteful, well maintained and well thought out; both in the building/furnishings and the items provided for our use (everything from crockery to appliances to barbeque utensils to range of DVDs). Heating was lovely and cosy when we arrived on a cold day and air conditioning was great on a very hot day. Blue Gums cottage is cosy and welcoming and has a lot of charm. We loved staying on the golf course as it was very relaxing. The facilities in the cottage were great and it was very clean. We made use of the pool which was conveniently located near the cottage.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend at Blue Gums. The setting was lovely and the house was cosy and very well equipped. We also enjoyed a very good dinner at the resort restaurant one evening with drinks by the fire and a round of golf.

Can I say that the stay we had was wonderful at Blue Gums.
The accomodation was ample for our needs (2 adults & 2 kids).
We will be back soon.
