Description

You may want to escape the routine of life for a few days or a week or two ... You're looking for a quiet & secluded haven down south to enjoy a real break with your partner and/or a couple of friends ... You may be chasing a country retreat for a romantic getaway ...

Margaret River Macs is the place for you & yours, and perhaps a couple of friends.

The house can accommodate 2-6 adults in two king size beds and one double bed ... on request we can also offer a baby porta cot & highchair for travelling parents with a infant/child to toddler age.

Our aim is for you to experience a truly memorable time away

Right in the heart of Margaret River. Your short-stay house is a delightful war-time original, reflective of the distinctive early settlement days in Margaret River. It boasts the mantle of first home on this street, carved from farming land. Meticulously constructed from local jarrah hardwood and set on a beautiful big block, with a rambling and ageing cottage garden (that is currently in the process of being rejuvenated).

Margaret River Macs is one of a handful of original houses left in town. Lovingly kept and refurbished for you, the house inside has touches of ancestry old and contemporary-style new. Lose yourself to the charm of this gorgeous place ... walk in and behold the lofty heights and space, complete with two bedrooms with heavenly king-sized beds, a stunning spacious bathroom, comfy lounging area warmed by an open fire, a generous gourmet country-style kitchen & delightful dining area incorporating a wish-away-a-day window seat. Margaret River Macs is stylish area classic and offers you creature comforts.

Simply delight in...
... Rejuvenating sleep in your heavenly king size bed, between soft 100% cotton sheets and under a warm woollen doona
... An agreeable soak under the oversized 2m high rainwater showerhead
... Lulling away your day on the cushion-piled window seat encircled by bursts of fresh country air
... Losing time in your must-finish book or in our selection of paperbacks and magazines
... A great track of music with glass in hand or a DVD movie from our comfy cosy couch in the warmth of the open fire
... A gourmet feast from the fully equipped kitchen ... antipasto or canapes anyone?
... A fresh brew of Yahava coffee or T2 tea while you dwell from a deckchair in your own private cottage garden

Margaret River Macs provides you with a bit of 5-star luxury while you stay.

Guest Reviews
We really enjoyed our stay at Margaret River Macs! On arrival we found a complimentary bottle of wine and were pleasantly surprised by the amount and quality of the other complimentary food, drinks and snacks. We were kept nice and warm by the fire and there were plenty of heaters to heat the bedrooms. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bathroom immaculate and the decor throughout the house was a cosy mix of modern and vintage. Wow! I'd happily stay again.

Lovely, quirky property. Spotless and centrally located. Very convenient for access to restaurants and shops but in quiet residential street with off street parking.

We found the house and in particular its location just perfect. The bedrooms were extremely cosy which was a big plus due to the surprising cold weather that we encountered. The decor had a rustic, WWII feel about it yet it has all the modcons that anyone would need.

My sister and I stayed here at Margaret River macs and were absolutely in love with the place. Everything was just spot on and luxurious, with huge big comfortable beds, a wonderful bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. We were unlucky with the weather, but in summer it has an awesome outside area. It also is perfectly situated near the centre of Margaret River but far enough for it to be peaceful and quiet. I have also been lucky to see its sister property in Fremantle, and that too is stylish, luxurious and beautifully finished. Thank you.
