Description

Listen to the crashing of the waves from the large covered deck.

The house is 3 hrs from Sydney or 2.5 hrs from Canberra. It is located directly opposite the popular northern end of Narrawallee Beach (one of the south coast's best beaches), and only 100 m from kiddie-safe Narrawallee Lake/Inlet. It is just a five minute drive to Ulladulla, Milton and Mollymook. Jervis Bay Marine Park is 40 mins north, and Batemans Bay is 40 mins south.

The recently renovated house is bright, comfortable and clean with a beachy feel, and is divided into upstairs and downstairs flats which can either be let together, or upstairs only at a discounted rate.

Upstairs flat sleeps 6 and consists of two bedrooms (1 queen, 2 bunks). Downstairs flat sleeps 5 and consists of a studio apartment (1 queen in a curtained off area), plus a separate bedroom (1 bunk + 1 single).

Each flat has its own kitchen (fridge / microwave / stove / oven / cookware / utensils), bathroom, lounge/livingroom (TV / VCR (downstairs) / CD / DVD (upstairs) / toys / games / books) and outdoor setting. Off the upstairs flat is a large covered deck with indoor/outdoor speakers and an outdoor setting for 10. There is a dishwasher in the upstairs flat. Separate rear shared laundry. Blankets and pillows are provided, however no linen.

The large backyard is safe for kids, with great play area for cricket, soccer, volleyball etc or relaxing at the outdoor setting by the gas BBQ.

It is a fantastic spot for family holidays. We have many repeat visitors each year who love the house and the location.

  • Recommendations

  • "We enjoyed our stay and certainly would stay at the same place for our next visit"
    Savita, December 2007

  • "What a great holiday house! Wonderful location. Clean, functional and comfortable. We stayed with another family and it worked well because you could have your privacy or be all together. The deck is large enough to accommodate the two families for alfresco living."
    Davina & Jason, May 2007

  • "We reallty enjoyed staying at this house - it was bright and clean with everything that a young family needed. Plenty of space and close to both the beach and the lagoon. The kids especially love the "secret beach" at the end of the peninsula where they founds lots of shells and fish in ponds. The flexibility of the two units also allowed for grandparents to be seperate and have their own space while still being on call for babysitting! I would recommend Wonky Pine to anyone who wanted a relaxed holiday at a reasonable price in a beautiful location."
    Peter, May 2007

  • "This place was incredible! It was a great getaway for our family holiday -- quiet, clean and all-together spectacular! We will be coming back every year, please don't change a thing. It was a brilliant time enjoyed by the whole family and a great value for the money."
    Kim, May 2007

  • "Fantastic Holiday as always, 2 weeks of perfect weather in a great holiday home. Thanks Again"
    Michael & Sandra, May 2007

  • "Great location! Love the easy access to the beach and lake entrance. Excellent layout, clean and comfortable holiday house. Perfect for going away with the extended family - with separate living areas. Good for our kids (age 4 & 6) and lovely quiet neighbourhood. Next time we head South - we'd consider returning to the Wonky Pine!"
    Davina & Jason, May 2007
