Our beautiful Gympie Golf Retreat has an open plan kitchen and living area, formal dining, and living rooms, & informal dining on the verandah (our favourite)and full laundry facilities. Consisting of 4 bedrooms with King Suite upstairs with ensuite, with 2 x Queen Suites, and one bedroom with two single beds. ( An extra 2 bedroom unit, a miniature of the main house, is also now available for separate renta) Completely self-contained accommodation is designed for single party bookings, specialising in family groups or groups of friends coming to Gympie for rest, recreation, relaxtion, or adventure. Extra services are avilable for longer stays. If you fancy a round of golf or two, you have the convenience of only being 100 metres from the Golf Clubhouse itself.
Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lovely gardens, and views of both Gympie and the 18th Fairway. Continental Breakfast Baskets are supplied with full priced bookings every day, at your request, and special breakfast packages are also available, by prior arrangement, if you would like to cook your own breakfast. Noel and Lyn Busk your proprietors are happy to advise and assist you with the bookings, with the help of the managers, Leeanne and Jason, with information on the many attractions surrounding the Gympie District. Use the Retreat as your base for your Sunshine Coast Hinterlands holiday. So, come with a group or family, or by yourself, and enjoy the relaxed country feel.
Set on approx. half an acre, the gardens are a treat. Seasonal fruits and vegetables are there for your use.
Made of Sandstone Brick, the house visually stands out in a crowd.
The King Suite has a large patio that overlooks the 18th Fairway of the Golf Club, and is perfect hideaway from rest of the house.
A 7/11 store is within a short walk, as is a service station, for any last minute supplies, the paper, etc.

Woodworks Forestry and Timber Museum
Includes demonstrations of early timber cutting techniques and a working replica of a steam driven sawmill. Please check with the museum for demonstration times.

Mary Valley Heritage Railway
Ride the restored 1923 steam train which travels the historic 40 km journey from Gympie to Imbil. Ride "The Rattler".
Cooloola Shire Public Gallery
The Gallery is housed in the historic School of Arts building on Nash Street and continues to display a variety of both local and touring exhibitions of high quality.
Deep Creek Gold Fossicking Area
Visitors can fossick for gold using the basic implements of pan, pick and shovel, with fossicking permits required and available from the Cooloola Visitor Information Centres.
