Unwind in the peaceful forest environment of Pemberton in our self-contained timber cottages, set amongst beautiful gardens on our sloping 19 acre farm with views to the Brockman State Forest.

Conveniently located 5 km from Pemberton, we are bordered on three sides by state forest and a two kilometre walk to the beautiful Cascades and Bibbulmun Track. We are also positioned on the Karri Forest Explorer Drive; a self-drive tour which takes you through majestic Karri forests, past farmlands and near peaceful waterways. Alternatively, we have a short walk through the forest that surrounds us or you can relax to the sound of birdsong in your cottages.

Our well-equipped cottages include open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, toilet/bathroom, TV/DVD/CD, slow combustion log fires, full gas stove, microwave oven, fridge and gas barbeque.

Enjoy the activities in our timber-lined recreation room complete with table tennis, board and card games and new guest laundry facility. Also available is a playground and farm animals for children to enjoy.

We have owned Breakaway Cottages for 2 years and are working towards creating a unique tourism business that not only provides comfortable & stylish accommodation but high-quality food that reflects the clean and diverse Pemberton environment.

Part-owner Sophie Zalokar, having trained with Maggie Beer in the Barossa Valley, now has great pleasure in being able to provide Breakaway guests with meals and or pre-prepared provisions many being organic and / or fair trade; making your self-catering stay easier, convenient and a true taste of the best that Pemberton offers.

Tariffs include all linen, complimentary soaps, coffee & tea. Porta-cots and a high chair are available on request.
