Serendipty at Mollymook is your gateway to the shoalhaven. From Milton to Dolphin Point you can view dolphins at play, water ski, golf, take in the many bush walking trails, have a massage at Bannisters Point Lodge, send a day at the many beaches or simply relax on the huge outdoor entertaining area. If that’s not enough to keep you occupied, the local communities of Milton and Ulladulla are just 10 minutes away.
For your convenience Mollymook shops are within walking distance and include a newsagency, bakery, liquor store, butcher, gourmet deli and supermarket.
The house is located 800m from beautiful Narrawallee Beach or 1km from Mollymook Beach, which is patrolled.
The Ulladulla district and its surrounds are an easy half day drive from both Sydney and Canberra. It embraces the lush farming lands of Milton and the many beautiful beaches at Bendalong, Ulladulla, Mollymook (patrolled in summer) and Narrawallee. It is hard to beat for water sport recreation, with safe swimming to be found in lakes and inlets, great surf beaches, excellent tidal and beach fishing, boating, windsurfing and more. There are excellent bushwalks taking in a plethora of native flora and fauna and the commanding Pigeon House Mountain presents a challenge for the climber, with the view from the top unsurpassed on the eastern seaboard, encompassing 120km of coast and hinterland.
Annual festivals include the Blessing of the Fleet in Ulladulla Harbour, several arts festivals, the Ulladulla Food & Wine Festival, and the unique Scarecrow Festival and the Settlers Fair, both held annually in Milton. Aside from this there are local markets held on weekends throughout the district, including the unique beach markets at Mollymook.
Milton (which has been classified by the National Trust as a heritage village), has many arts and craft stores, excellent cafes and restaurants and unique designer shops.
Travelling further south, Narrawallee, has two fantastic beaches and picnic grounds with fresh water, barbecue and toilet facilities. Beautiful coastal views can be seen from several lookouts which take in panoramic views both north and south.
Situated between Milton and Ulladulla is the town of Mollymook. Mollymook is home to two outstanding golf courses, a fantastic Golf Course Club house and a long sandy white beach, which is patrolled in summer.
Ulladulla is renowned for its seafood, and the local co-operative at the harbour is a great place to buy fresh off the boat fish-of-the-day. There is also an excellent cultural walking track at North Head. Constructed in two loops of 1km each, the tracks are suitable for wheelchair access, and are a fascinating journey into the local history of the area. They take in Aboriginal carved artworks and travel on to lookouts over the harbour and coastline.
A further 5km south on this drive will bring you to the scenic townships of Burrill Lake and Dolphin Point. Surrounded by natural bushland, their unspoilt beauty provides excellent fishing spots and safe boating, sailing and windsurfing.
