Description

The cottage has a very private setting and is ideal for those who are looking for peace and tranquility. It is surrounded by natural sub tropical rainforest with astounding bird life. It is set on a 10.5 acre property with walks that will capture 180 degree ocean views.
On your first night's stay, we supply a complimentary continental breakfast.

When you enter the Kororo Basin, it is like entering another world and yet our property is only minutes from the centre of town. Bangalow Cottage is 5 minutes from some of Coffs Harbour's best and safest beaches and is the perfect area for peaceful bushwalks. Our property has views across to Bruxner Park and the Pacific Ocean and it is not unusual to see whales.

The cottage is equipped with brand new boutique style decor and has a tropical feel to it. The decking overlooks 50 year old bangalow palms, rainforest and a fresh running creek. We supply you with bananas, oranges and grapefruit when in season (all grown on our property) and you are free to collect fresh eggs for breakfast from our 'girls'.

Guest Reviews

  • "We absolutely loved Bangalow Cottage. It is in a wonderful location, set in gorgeous 'tropical' gardens - the peacock came to greet us when we first arrived and that was lovely too! The cottage is beautifully decorated and laid out, with everything we needed. We can't wait to come and stay again soon! Graham & Jennifer"

  • "A piece of paradise away from it all yet only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Coffs city. We had a fantastic time although too short and will definitely go back for a longer stay. Fresh eggs from the girls, daily visits by the peacock and the peaceful environment was a hit with the hard to please city-teens. The hosts were very welcoming and informative. "

  • "Amazing location and really friendly and helpful hosts. We especially loved the resident peacock and the eggs from the chickens!"

  • "I stayed here for 3 weeks whilst on business but it felt like a retreat. The cottage is so peaceful. The surroundings are so pretty. The interior is decorated very lovingly. Its modern, very clean, homely and has everything you need. The photos don't do it justice. My hosts were so lovely. They dropped off fresh bananas and eggs but were not at all intrusive. One night the area had a freak blackout and they invited me into their own home, which shows their generosity. Its only a 5-10 minute ride into the centre of town, yet feels like the country. Highly reccommended."

  • "If you are after a quiet getaway stay without the crowds, this is the place that you should be going for. Not only are you welcomed by the friendly hostess and the cosy cottage, you will also be greeted by the hens and peacock at the backyard. A very different experience compared to staying in the busy tourist resorts. In this place you will have your own privacy in the middle of the woods, and also, it is just a stone throw away to the beach or shopping centre. "
