Heritage listed Cocora Cottage is a traditional B&B. It was the original Police Watch house in Eden. The sandstone wall inside was built from sandstone that came to Eden as ballast in the old steamers.
Cocora Cottage B&B is centrally located in a quiet area near Eden’s famous Killer Whale Museum and is a short walk to the Wharf and Eden's restaurants.
Your breakfast is served in the lounge area or on the deck with spectacular views down to the Wharf and across Twofold Bay to the foothills of Mt Imlay.
Both bedrooms have a Queen sized bed, a television and an ensuite with a spa. The front bedroom features polished Kauri timber floorboards and the original open fireplace while the back bedroom offers wharf views from the bay window.
Historic Eden is truly paradise situated on the magnificent Sapphire Coast and surrounded by National Parks and State Forests. It is the last town on the NSW South Coast before you enter Victoria.
Eden is now a popular whale watching destination with migrating whales pausing to feed offshore here during October. The famous Killer Whale Museum tells the unique story of Tom the Killer Whale who used to work with the whalers in days gone by.
Dolphin and Whale watching cruises are popular. The fishing charter operators know where to catch a big one or your can scuba dive on one of the wrecks that litter the coast.
Eden is centrally located for excellent bushwalking in the National Parks. One of the more popular is the Light to Light walk where you can walk along the rugged coast from Boyds Tower to Greencape Lighthouse, pausing at magnificent beaches for a swim and camping along the way.
