Description

Edna's is a recently renovated, character-filled 1940s house overlooking beautiful St George's Basin. It features a new kitchen complete with new stainless steel gas stove, microwave oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The house contains two-bedrooms (one queen, one double), sunny separate dining, timber floors and pressed metal ceilings, with open fire in lounge. It features a sunny front verandah and glassed-in rear verandah with daybed and stunning Basin views. It includes a TV, DVD, VCR and CD player.

Erowal Bay is perfect for walking, playing tennis or relaxing in the sleepy village atmosphere surrounded by wildlife. Waterskiing, fishing, canoeing and windsurfing are just some of the activities to be enjoyed on St George's Basin. There is a boat ramp and local store which provides videos, takeaway food, petrol, alcohol and groceries. Attractions at nearby Jervis Bay (Huskisson, Vincentia & Hyams Beach) include dolphin cruises, scuba diving, cafes, restaurants, golf course, movie theatre and supermarket. Booderee National Park is 10 minutes drive with botanic gardens, white sand beaches and bush walks.

Rates and Conditions

Edna's is not suitable for children and is a non-smoking establishment. Pets are permitted with prior approval of the owner, but the property is unfenced and native animals frequent the area.

During peak periods the rate is $260 per night - generally with a minimum of 7 nights. A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking with the balance payable 14 days prior to arrival.

Check in time is normally 2pm, with departure by 10am. These times may be varied by prior arrangement with the owners.

Other Properties

The owners also have a Victorian house at Kiama, also on the NSW South Coast, and an apartment at Glebe in Sydney. These properties can be viewed on the Stayz site under 'Kiama Light House' and 'Blackwattle Bay Apartment'.

Guest Reviews
Absolutely gorgeous. I wish that we could have stayed longer so that we could have spent more time in the house as well as out in that beautiful part of the world. Everything was thoughtfully provided and arranged.
