Nowa Nowa Lakeside cabin situated on 100 acres fronting Lake Tyers. Magnificent birdlife & wildlife. Private serene and overlooking the lake. Our private jetty is ideal for fishing, boating and canoeing, or just relax on the balcony, swim in the pool - all in this unique location.

Rail Trails & Mountain Bikes

Nowa Nowa has developed some great bike tracks making the area a mecca for cycling enthusiasts. With the East Gippsland Rail Trail passing through town, and a new network of downhill Mountain Bike Tracks, this is cycling heaven. We are happy to pick up cyclists who arrive via the Rail Trail from Bairnsdale or Orbost.

  • "Very friendly and welcoming hosts, loved the experience of living next to the lake and on the edge on a hill top! It was amazing, fishing and kayaking all day in privacy. The cottage is cosy and the bed was so comfortable, felt great resting after our busy, fun filled days. We had the best time and will be back next time we visit Lakes Entrance, no doubt about it."

  • "My husband and I stayed here for four nights in late January 2010 and we absolutely loved it! The cabin was really great. The view of the lake from the deck was amazing and a great spot to read or enjoy a drink and chat. Set on 100acres of private property and a 3 minutes walk away from your own jetty where you can drop a line and catch some Brim or Flathead for dinner, or go for a canoe on the lake, there is plenty to enjoy about this place. You can also go for a swim in the in-ground pool or a walk at twilight when all the wildlife are out and about - or let them come to you! We are in our early 30's and this accommodation would really suit any couple who is happy to bring their supplies(dvd's and cd's included - although they have a good selection of some classics) and just escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a couple of days. The owners have clearly decorated this place with love which makes for a a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We'll be back again for sure."

  • "What a beautiful spot! We had a wonderful time and we will be back. At night we could hear the fish jumping in the lake, wombats roaming and roos hoping through the bush that surrounds the house. The pool was lovely, swimming in a warm salt water pool that you could see the lake from was so relaxing. Only a 15 min drive to the most beautiful beaches. Loved the house, loved the location, loved the art. Thank you!"
