Guest Reviews

  • "It's hard to go past the view at this place. It's also close to both Blueys and Boomerang Beach and a longish walk to Elizabeth's. The house looks over Boomerang Beach which we rated above Blueys which is south facing. The house itself has all the basics and more although it's not ideal for very young kids (no bath and internal steps that need blocking off) although saying this we managed very well with 2 kids under 2 as the 2 lounge areas, kitchen and 4 bedrooms gave them plenty of options for exploring inside. Bill the owner was easy to deal with and was very accomodating with our change of plans - thanks Bill."

  • "Headland House was the perfect beach house. Comfortable, relaxed and unpretentious, it felt like it was your own home. The views were awesome, the position incredible, getting the best of the sunshine and the cooling sea breeze. "

  • "Once again we had a great time and will be back for sure. Owner, Bill is great to deal with and very flexible. Amazing view, great beaches with lots of surf options close by. Even managed to catch a heap of fish. What more could one want? "

  • "Fabulous place - best holiday accomodation we have ever stayed in. Modern contemporary home - loved the design and views, quality inclusions from the furniture, washing machine and drier right down to the coffee pot. Great outside setting for eating while taking full advantage of the water by day and the lights of Foster in the evening. Our dogs loved it as much as we did. We will definitely be rebooking again for next year."

  • "Headland House was just perfect, simple, clean, tidy and 'oh that view'. So peaceful, surounded by wildlife and a moment from the beautiful beach. We loved our weeek here enjoying the outstanding views, great sun rises and sun set sitting on the veranda. Swimming with dolphins in Foster is a must as is the canoeing on the river. Getting back to a British winter has been very hard. We loved it all, thank you Bill Cooke."
