10 steps and you are on the sandy beach..... great for walking, exploring or just to relax and hear the water lapping at your feet.

Ceiling to floor windows show off magnificent views from the Dining/Living area and Main Bedroom and the Large deck is complete with outdoor dining for 8.
The downstairs bedrooms also have beach and water views.

The house has a fully equipped new kitchen with everything you would need to cook up a storm (including rice cooker and breadmaker).

The living/dining area is open plan with 2 lounge, TV, DVD + Video player and portable stereo with CD player. The dining area has seating for 8 - watch the boats on the water during mealtimes.

The bathroom has a new walk-in shower and separate toilet with 2 doors for access.

There are 3 outdoor areas to take advantage of the sunshine, a BBQ area at the front of the house off the kitchen is
great for entertaining, as is the large deck which has all day sun and seating for 8. There is also a patio on the lower level on the beach side.

The Beachfront House has 4 bedrooms (2 upstairs and 2 downstairs - providing many options for families)

MAIN BEDROOM - Upstairs Main bedroom is a Double with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water views, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and TV. New 5 star mattress for superb comfort and restful sleep

BEDROOM 2 - Upstairs Bunk with Double on bottom and single on top with built-in wardrobe

BEDROOM 3 - Downstairs Double room with chest of drawers and mirror with floor to ceiling windows overlooking view and access to patio. New 5 star mattress for superb comfort and restful sleep

BEDROOM 4 - Downstairs single bunks and TV, also floor to ceiling windows overlooking view and access to patio.

All beds have commercial quality velour blankets for warmth and extra woollen blankets are also provided.
Linen/towels are not included but can be supplied, extra charge applies ($20 per 4 persons)

There is an outdoor room with trough and fridge suitable for storing extra refreshments. Also housed here are the beach gear for guests including buckets, spades, noodles, balls for beach play.

Stairs are gated inside the house as is the BBQ area for families with small children.

The accomodation is perfect for families young and old to enjoy beach culture - view the children playing on the sandy white beach from the deck. The beach is not a wave beach - it merely laps at the sand, making it easy to relax and enjoy any water pursuits.

The beach has a jetty which is suitable for fishing from and rocks at both ends of the beach for fossicking in the rockpools.
There are 3 other beachs in easy walking distance, one either side of the rocks and another adjacent to the end of the road past the house - they are all nice sandy beaches to explore.

There is a local Opossum Store which has many supplies of everyday food items also fishing, toys and an extensive range of magazines. They also cook delicious \"Burgers with the lot\" as well as fish and chips.

Opossum Park is located 100 metre along from the house, you can walk on the road or beach as it is accessed from both. It has 2 electric BBQs operated free under shelter and playground equipment.

Opossum Bay is on the Sydney to Hobart yacht race course which sails from Sydney on Boxing Day(26th Dec) each year - watching them come past is of great interest.

There are two 9-hole golf courses (par 70) nearby if you would like a break from the beach

The house has a heat pump in the main living area and there are 2 column heaters if needed. The house enjoys all day sun so heating is rarely a problem.

The water supply is by tank water so care with the water is appreciated. It is suitable for drinking.

The house can be enjoyed in both summer and winter (snow capped Mt Wellington is a beautiful backdrop). Winter days at Opossum are calm and crisp but equally as beautiful as on long summer days.
