Guest Reviews

  • "We visited Nevyln Shores in Easter of this year and the first thing that struck us was the warm welcome of the owners and the beautiful location. A few things did strike us as odd though. - Paying $250 a night you might expect Foxtel? It does only cost $70-$80 a month. - A modern kitchen with no microwave? All in all though a pleasant stay."

  • "We've stayed 5-star all over the world but nothing compares to a holiday at home and few NSW venues could compare with Nevelyn Shores. We took our power boats, kayaks and mountain bikes just to add to the numerous toys provided there already. The adjacent bay proved ideal for skiing every day and we were close to everything. The ducks and kookaburras wandering upto the door for a morning and evening feed added to the enjoyment."

  • "Thankyou Marilyn for a fabulous time. Hope everything is in order. We lost one of the rollocks but replaced it so there is a spare in the garage. Thanks so much. Sue (Nutter)"

  • " A truly relaxing environment and a perfect house for a holiday with our ekderly mother. The house was lovely and clean and we wish we had nore time to enjoy a truly wonderful holiday house. Great hospitality and attention to detail inside the house, as well as the boat, bikes and canoe make this a place that old and young can appreciate. Highly recommend it!!"

  • "Beautiful place- the photos dont do it justice. Perfect place for a getaway. The kayak, tinny, mountain bikes and fishing rods provided great outdoor activities whilst the jacuzzi, pool table, bbq, foxtel and lots of books were perfect for those rainy days.. Marilyn was wonderful and hospitable. Thank you for a wonderful stay."

  • "We stayed here during the October long weekend and had a wonderful and relaxing break. Having said that, the boat, pool table and spa were indeed put to good use, and we were made to feel very welcome with the fridgeful of goodies left by Marilyn. The chickens, ducks, and a cameo from Vincent the dog also added to our overall homestead experience!"

  • "Nevelyn Shores was a fantastic place to stay! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and perfect location. We got there with no trouble at all, only a short drive from the F3. The peace and quiet of the area, the spa, comfortable outdoor living & BBQ area, the immaculate gardens and magnificent view of the lake were great for relaxing. It was the perfect place to pull out a book and forget about the time completely. We left after our holiday feeling very refreshed! There was still plenty of things to do to keep us active and entertained - fishing & swimming, the row boat and the Kayak, the pool table and mountain bikes were all thoroughly enjoyed. The hospitality of Marilyn and Phillip should also be commended, everything down to the smallest detail. They had obviously put in the effort before we arrived to ensure we enjoyed our stay and it was very much appreciated. I would recommend Nevelyn Shores to anyone looking for a great place to holiday or get away for the weekend! We will definately be visiting again in the future."
