Description

Looking for an escape from the city and some peace and quiet?
Buckley's Valley is a farm property located approximately
8km southwest of Warooka, 2 1/2 hours from Adelaide.
The area is well known for fishing be it beach, rock, boat or
jetty. Southern Yorke Peninsula is surrounded by the sea, which suggests a mild climate, & Buckley's Valley is less than 50km from the coast in any direction & only 10km to the nearest beaches.
Innes National Park is a major attraction with its spectacular scenery. In the opposite direction, Edithburgh has some fascinating history and the new wind farm is well worth a visit.
But if a relaxing couple of days surrounded by wheat crops & nothing but
the sounds of nature appeals, then Buckley's Valley is truly a
rural retreat.
The cottage is well equipped and with provisions for breakfast is ideal for couples or small families.

Guest Reviews

  • "Wow! This place is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. The retreat is perfectly situated in Southern Yorke Peninsula so you can easily get to all the best locations such as Marion Bay, Innes National Park, and Edithburgh with minimal fuss. This place comes with heaps of extras which makes this a home away from home that you will thoroughly enjoy. Will be back next time I am down that end of Yorke Peninsula for sure!!!"

  • "A beautiful cottage! It was far enough from everything to find the peace and solitude I look for when escaping from the city for a weekend. Yet close enough to other towns in Yorke Peninsula to make a day trip or two to see the attractions. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and loved all the little extras provided on arrival which made my stay more homely. I look forward to returning again soon!"
