Historic Lyndoch, The 'Village of Wine and Roses', is an ideal place from which to experience the Barossa Valley and environs, with its many wineries, restaurants, landscapes, heritage buildings and other attractions. Barossa Country Cottages are situated on the southern boundary of the Barossa Valley and is within 5 mins walk or 5 mins drive of a number of well known wineries.

Your hosts are Carole and Michael, and our philosophy is to provide an atmosphere of comfort, relaxation and generous hospitality at a moderate tariff. Barossa Country Cottages offers holiday accommodation at its very best in the Barossa Valley.

The Cottages

Our 2 Cottages are self contained, comfortable and spacious, an excellent place to relax and enjoy the tranquility, bird life and clean country air, to do as much or as little as you please.
Each cottage has 2 bedrooms, fully equiped kitchen, bathroom with separete vanity and separate toilet, lounge and dining area and your own veranda with outdoor seating

They are perfect for quiet romantic escapes, family getaways, or for a small group of friends to unwind. Ideal for long or short visits, sightseeing and exploring. Children are welcome to explore the garden and play on the swings. We have provided an enclosure with kennel for those wishing to bring along that extra 4 legged family member. All that we would ask is that you ensure your pet is under control at all times, and that you clean up after them. Pets are not permited inside your cottage.

Your Comfort

We have endeavoured to provide everything you may need for your stay to make it as comfortable and carefree as is possible. If you have any special requirements, we will do our best to ensure those needs are met.
Your fridge is stocked with breakfast provisions, including local farm eggs, bacon, tomatoes and hash browns, along with a selection of jams and marmalade, wholemeal and wholegrain bread, butter, milk, orange juice and a variety of teas and coffees.
Jacaranda Cottage is our de-luxe cottage and has a cosy wood fire for those chilly evenings. Both cottages have reverse cycle air conditioning, and all beds are supplied with electric blankets.
