Great place to stay, situated fairly close to the wineries. At most 20 mins away from Penfolds and close to a lot of the smaller producers.
Cottage was clean, had everything we could ask for, and quiet. Owners were very nice and were quite knowledgeable about the area and Adelaide, which was about an hour away. If you're doing a winery tour, put it on your shortlist, although make sure you have a designated driver!

Stayed here (family of four including two young sons) for one week in December 2009. Comfortable if slightly compact accommodation, lovely surrounds, helpful host and our kids loved the spa! Kitchen had all utensils we needed to make our own dinners and prepare lunches for daytrips, helping kep costs down. Cottage decor a little bit dated but still very comfortable. Lyndoch is a sweet little town, well positioned in middle of Barossa Valley and not too far from Adelaide. Host was especially helpful one night when we were concerned about bushfires 10km from town (after Black Saturday all Victorians get worried when fires near their holiday accommodation).

What a fantastic stay. Loved the cottages, spa was divine, surroundings were so beautiful and peaceful and the hospitality was fantastic. Was spoilt rotten by hosts and wanted for nothing. Everything was so clean and prestige. The fireplace was heaven on the cool night. Would definately recommend this property to other people. Can't wait to go back. price was really cheap for the great time that was had.

Because there was 5 adults and a baby, it really wasn't altogether suitable, especially as 1 adult had to sleep on the sofa in the lounge. The baby's cot also cramped the 2nd bedroom. One bathroom made bathing for 5 adults a military exercise in order to be through in a reasonable time. It would be ideal for the couple with the baby or for 2 couples. The decor was 'old fashioned' but OK.
