Description
Situated one hours drive from Hobart it makes an ideal base for exploring the sunny East Coast and its many attractions. To the North, Freycinet National Park offers beautiful scenery and spectacular walks. To the South, visit Port Arthur and its convict ruins. To the East is beautiful Maria Island. Take the ferry and enjoy a day exploring what it has to offer. Restaurants, shops and services are located only 10 minutes walk away. The area is excellent for bike riding, fishing, easy walking and surfing/boogie boarding at Spring Beach. A mooring is available for use by owners of small craft and is situated a stone's throw from the front door.
The house has recently had a major renovation, (completed Nov 2007) with a new kitchen and two new bathrooms. It has a cosy woodheater, panel heaters for those cooler months and Tastic lights in both bathrooms. Electric blankets are supplied. It also has a northerly facing aspect and thus enjoys all day sun. Accommodation sleeps eight and consists of one queen , two twin rooms and a bedroom with single bunks. Two trundle beds available on request. There is a paved patio beachside and a sunny rear, covered courtyard perfect for al fresco dining.
Fill your days with action or just laze away reading whilst admiring the stunning uninterrupted views of Prosser Bay and the Mercury Passage Enjoy watching the children playing safely on the sheltered beach in front.
