Hideaway is a well appointed cedar cottage in a quiet area overlooking Popes Glen & National Parks. It is located close to bushwalking tracks and 1.5Km from Blackheath Village shopping area offering great cafes, restuarants and antique shops.
Perfect central location to explore the Blue Mountains. Within easy drive to Govettes Leap and Evans Head local lookouts. 10min drive to Katoomba (Three Sisters, Skyway, Scenic railway), 30min drive to Jenolan Caves and Zig Zag Railway.
This cottage has a very spacious living area offering a slow combustion fireplace and ducted gas heating throughout the cottage - perfect for cold winter nights. The spacious lounge room has a large 101cm LCD TV with DVD/VCR and Stereo system. There are a large selection of video and DVD movies, plus board games provided to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable.
The eat in kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc. Enjoy the bush outlook from the dining table and watch the frequent visits from kookaburras and rosellas on the rear balcony.
There are 3 bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: Queen size bed, bedside tables and 80cm TV
Bedroom 2: Queen size bed and bedside tables
Bedroom 3: Two single beds, bedside table and small TV
Bathroom has separate shower, small bath and toilet.
Downstairs under the house is the well equipped laundry with washing machine, clothes dryer and extra toilet, plus a large undercover games area with table tennis table.
