What's the house like?

The house is a charming log cabin in a secluded setting in quiet, tree-lined Silverleaves.

The place is a quiet retreat with a wood fire heater with dry wood supplied, three Nobo heaters, large screen TV, DVD, CD player and kitchen all in a spacious living area.

The house comprises three bedrooms:
Main Bedroom: Queen Size Bed
Second Bedroom: Double Bed
Third Bedroom: Double Bunks (low height with rails on the top bunks)

Note we have a limit on number of people.

Linen is available on request at an additional charge. Towels available for GP only.

Outside is an under cover BBQ area with gas bottle supplied and an outside dining table which comfortably seats 8.

What's in the area?

Within walking distance:
* 3 mins to family beach
* 2 mins to Cafe & General Store
* 10 mins along Silverleaves Beach to Bird Watching area
* 10 mins walk to 18 hole Golf Course & Restaurant
* 15-20 mins walk along beach into Cowes for shopping and dining

The area is flat and good for walking, bike & trike riding and cars are limited to 40kmh.

By Car:
* 2 mins to the Bowling Alley and other indoor play centres
* 3 mins into Cowes for shopping, movies and dining
* 5 mins to the Koala Sanctuary
* 10 mins to the Penguin Parade
* 10 mins to San Remo

Pricing for a week is based on a Saturday or Sunday change over.

Price for accommodation during the MotoGP in 2011 is $1600.
