Whispering Sands is a very comfortable, fully equipped beach house to meet your every need whilst exploring the beauty of Jervis Bay and the South Coast.

Located on the beach road, Whispering Sands is directly opposite the white sands of Callala Beach enjoying tremendous views of Jervis Bay.

A special morning treat is waking to the orchestral sounds of the waves and the active bird life, and that first glance of the mirror like sparkling waters of the bay. The sighting of a local pod of dolphins passing by is almost a daily occurrence.

Callala beach is well known for being one of the more sheltered beaches, particularly popular with young families or those who prefer to swim in still waters. There are 13 other beautiful beaches close by whether it be surf, seclusion or sheltering that you are looking for.

Swimming, snorkelling, fishing, kite flying, bush walking, windsurfing and bike riding are just a few of the sports which can be enjoyed during your stay at Callala beach. Bring your tennis rackets - there is also a court on the beach road only minutes away.

The sportsman's club has bowling greens and a scenic 9 hole golf course, where you can often enjoy playing a round of golf amongst the kangaroos.

Our annual family holiday was spent at Whispering Sands for the third consecutive year.
This time, with the company of our friends and their two children, eight of us in total.
The house was just as comfortable and easy to live in with all eight of us as it had previously been with four.
It made it all new and exciting for us again to introduce our friends to holidaying at Callala Beach.
They were so impressed with the house and all it’s comforts of home with some added extras like the view and sound of the ocean.
The first morning we awoke they commented on the unbelievably comfortable beds and the beautiful linen being better than their’s at home.
We took them to all the beautiful surrounding spots, that we had discovered during our two previous stays, and of course to the beach right across the road every day. Thankfully we had wonderful weather even though every time we called home it was chilly and raining, everything worked out perfect.
We all had a wonderful time and everybody is talking about booking to come back again, next year. It’s beginning to feel like a home away from home!

"We stayed at Whispering Sands Beach House for 10 days in January 2006. The house is in a wonderful location, with easy access to the beach on Jervis Bay. The house is easy to live in, with modern well-equipped kitchen and living area. The provision of appliances such as a BBQ, sandwich maker, wok, etc made the stay easy on the cooks. A large, shaded backyard with plenty of seats and grass was enjoyable. Two large families lived in close proximity for a week and had plenty of space to "get away" if needed - Charlie January 2006

We had an amazing time at Whispering Sands; we stayed there with some friends after our wedding and were really touched that the owner had left us champagne and chocolates! The house is a great place to entertain - we had pool and table tennis tournaments as well as lots of BBQ's. The house has a huge garden (great for kids) and a sun-trapped deck. Well, it's time for us to plan our yearly family holiday. After speaking to the kids (we try & go somewhere different every year) but they insisted on coming back to Whispering Sands. There exact words were 'please,please,can we?' So Steve & I decided that we had such a lovely time last year that we would like to come again this year. I am looking at 10 days.
