Victoria Lodge Motor Inn and Serviced Apartments, a Golden Chain member, is the newest motel in town. Our accommodation encompasses modern luxury suites in a quiet yet central location close to the central shopping district and hotels and restaurants. Local attractions of this picturesque coastal town include Cape Bridgewater, National Parks, Portland Cable Tram, the Great South West Walk and the Maritime Museum. Of special note is the proximity of the Motel to Portland's main beach (one block) and the superb fishing year round.

Property and Location

All units are ground floor with adjacent parking and cater for all needs including smoking, non-smoking, disabled, families and corporate. Our four (4) star motel suites are available in standard, standard with double corner spa, deluxe and deluxe with double corner spas. All these suites are larger than normal with generous bench space and feature queen size beds, air-conditioning and eight (8) channel free Austar television. Our four and a half (4 a) star apartments are available in one or two bedroom and both feature queen size beds, air-conditioning, fourteen (14) channel free Austar television, cooking and laundry facilities. All our rooms have wireless broadband internet access.

Portland is Victoria's first permanent settlement and still has over 200 historical buildings from the 1800's.Take a self guided tour and view the history of our state's birthplace. Cape Bridgewater offers a fantastic day trip with highlights including the Petrified Forest, the Blow Holes, Limestone Caves and a seal colony. The Great South West Walk starts and ends at Portland and covers 250 km's of extremely diverse landscape travelling through native forest, spactacular towering cliffs, and along majestic coastline. The Great South West Walk is designed to either walk a section or enjoy the whole adventure. View the natural beauty our region has to offer with it's numerous wild flowers and abumndance of wildlife. Surfing in our region offers the tourist numerous options depending on the wind and the swell. Why not try our our beach, Yellow Rock or Bridgewater Bay. The fishing in Portland is one of the highlights which offers the opportunity to try your luck in the surf for Mulloway, Salmon or Snapper. There are full facilities to launch your boat at Portland. Bait is available and we may be able to offer you some local knowlegde if you require it.
