Description

Wallaroo Waters is located on the Copper Cove Marina in Wallaroo, situated 160km northwest of Adelaide (90 mins from Adelaide).

Wallaroo is one of the three prime towns comprising the historic Copper Coast. The others being Kadina and Moonta. The combined population of the 3 towns only 10km and 18km respectively away from Wallaroo is approximately 12,000.

Copper mining was the area's chief industry in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Today farming, grain handling, fishing and tourism are the main industries.

Wallaroo boasts a massive grain handling jetty, a prawn fleet, Maritime Museum, magnificent beach and historic hotels.

The marina mouth exits between the jetty and sweeping sands of North Beach.

What is not so well known about Wallaroo, is its proximity to the Clare Valley, wonderful townships of the mid-north and Southern Flinders Ranges. All locations can be accessed in a day trip without too much effort - Clare Wineries 85km, Crystal Brook 90km, Gladstone 100km, Laura 110km, Melrose and Mt Remarkable 160km.

Wallaroo is located on Spencer Gulf and has some of the finest fishing grounds in South Australia - species include whiting, snapper, yellowtail kingfish, garfish, snook, squid and crabs.

By boat it's an easy run down the coast to Moonta and Tippera Reef and the magnificent South Beach/Cape Elizabeth areas or head north to Port Broughton and Fishermans Bay. Larger boats can head across the gulf some 40kms to the pristine waters of Cowell located on Franklin Harbour.

For relaxing by the water, swimming, fishing, sailing and diving or even canoeing around the extensive marina waterways - a holiday at Wallaroo Waters is hard to beat.

Waterfront Living with pontoon

This modern holiday home sleeps a maximum of 7 in three bedrooms. ALL LINEN IS INCLUDED.

Master with queen size bed, en-suite and walk-in-robe. Second Bedroom with queen size bed and built-in robe.
Third Bedroom with double bunk and single bed with trundle and built-in-robe. (Trundle suitable for short stay only).
The third bedroom features a TV (digital/set top box) with DVD.

Pontoon moors 2 x 5m boats or one boat up to 10 metres.
Boats over 5m are offered exclusive mooring on whole of pontoon.

Patio/verandah overlooks the marina canal and features outdoor table, 8 chairs, sunlounge and 4 burner hooded BBQ/ROASTER with side Wok burner.

Patio faces north and shields holidaymakers from the western sun and prevailing southerlies.

Special feature - DOUBLE GARAGE measuring internally 8m long x 6m wide with 2.7m high roller door clearance. Comfortably fits up to a 5.5m boat on trailer (with ample height clearance - canopy up or down depending on boat design) along with the family vehicle.

Check length of your boat from drawbar to outboard in extreme down position. (Bench, vice, shelving also in garage).

RATES - MINIMUM STAY 2 NIGHTS

$220 per night for up to 7 people - valid until 31.12.09.
ONE NIGHT FREE for bookings of 7 nights or more = $1320 per week (6 @ $220) or $188 per night - valid until 31.12.09

(From 1.1.10 to 31.12.10 rate is $225 per night - $1,350 per week).

Long weekends - 3 night min stay
Christmas - 5 night min stay between 24.12.09 and 2.1.10
Easter - 3 night min stay between 2.4.10 and 5.4.10
YP Field Days - 3 night min stay between 29.9.09 and 1.10.09

ALL LINEN INCLUDED - Quilts, sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, tea towels etc.
Electric blankets on queen beds.
