1. Don’t wait days for someone to respond to your booking enquiry form. That’s outdated and a waste of your time. See what’s available right now. Book and pay online. Internet reservations only. Easy!

2. We’ll E-mail you an electronic access code, which is your key to the property. Arrive when you want to (after 2pm) and let yourself in.

3. Check yourself out before 10am on your day of departure. All you have to do is lock up and close the door behind you.

Possum Beach Cottage is situated on one of the premier beachfront allotments opposite Big Possum Beach, Carnarvon Bay.

The cottage is fully renovated and is crisp and clean. Its close proximity to the Port Arthur Historic site (only 3minutes by road), and many other local attractions make it the ideal place to base yourself whilst visiting the Tasman Peninsula.

Possum Beach Cottage overlooks Carnarvon Bay which is the next bay around from Port Arthur’s Mason Cove. From the deck and front rooms of the cottage, including the master bedroom, you will enjoy sweeping water views including vistas of \"The Isle of the Dead\"!

We offer you a quality, three-bedroom house that is fresh, clean and modern. The master bedroom contains a Queen bed, as does the second bedroom. In the third you’ll find two single beds each with their own pullout trundle bed underneath. That means we can sleep up to eight of you! Perfect for families.

The Cottage is fully self-contained making it the ideal getaway location for those looking for more than the confined space of a motel room. All you need is your own food hamper. There is a general store close by for everyday grocery items and hot takeaway food. There are also several restaurants in the local area.

See below for our list of inclusions.

  • "What a fresh, open, clean & modern place to stay! Comfy beds, relaxing, modern & roomy. Professional & prompt auto booking which answered all questions and no hassles with keys or card swipes thanks to the keyless entry keypad system! Magic views. Perhaps buy food/drinks before Port Arthur as gen. store pricey for supplies. 2 teens, 2 adults loved the stay! Highly recommend it to anyone."
