Description

A relaxed, water access only, cottage with 2 double bedrooms and addititional sleeping for 4 children in the common living area.

A short row across the creek separates you from cars, roads and reinforces that feeling that you are on holiday.

The house opens up to its surroundings with a large sunny deck overlooking the jetty and the lagoon. The outside shower room and odourless composting toilet enjoy bush views up the hill and accentuate the Patonga lifestyle.

The house enjoys a secluded private aspect. Bedrooms are apart from one another, each with views of the water but with a different orientation.

Linen is supplied

A beautiful walk along or the water front - or row the boat if you prefer - and you are at the south beach of Patonga. A sheltered swimming beach with views of lion island and favourite spot for children to play in the sand.

Pets, especially dogs, enjoy Patonga too. With no roads or risk of being run over, and some really great walks, it would be a shame to leave them at home. However please note that the property is not fenced.

Children love messing about in the boat, digging for crabs in the mangroves and running around in a car free environment, but there are no fences between the house and water and we do not recommend that you take very young children, or children who cannot swim.

For those wanting to use public transport, Patonga is a half hour ferry ride from palm beach. And we can arrange transport to and from both Ettalong Ferry terminal and Woy Woy station for up to 2 people.

Guest Reviews

  • "We went to this property for my partners birthday and it was perfect. Very rustic, so be prepared for outdoor showers and a few spiders ;) But sitting on the deck and listening to the Kookaburras was just magic. We also really enjoyed the oysters and food at the Tavern, a great way to spend a sunny afternoon.Thank you.Leigh"

  • "A great relaxing stay - great house that really feels like it's atuned to with the environment. Fabulous views over the mangroves, and a fantastic hideaway - you get a real sense of being away from the city - we've been twice already and will be back. "
