This elegant family home can sleep 6 people comfortably. There are 3 bedrooms, two with queen sized beds and 1 with a double bed. This property welcomes families (but is not suitable for children under 10) and couples who want to enjoy the ambience of close proximity to bushland and fabulous beaches. A 300 metre walk will take you to Cabbage Tree Bay, and shops, including 2 restaurants, 2 cafes and a club. The Hunter Valley and its fabulous wineries is less than an hour's drive away. Fenced in yard is ideal for well-behaved, outdoor dogs. Polished and slate floors, open plan living/kitchen with dishwasher, formal lounge and dining. Main bedroom has an ensuite, and there are 2 other bathrooms, one with spa, the other with a double shower. 4 burner BBQ on large backyard deck. The house is fully furnished with laundry facilities. This house is in a quiet, residential area and would not suit people looking for a location for celebrations. Outdoor pets OK.

Location

Situated on the Norah Head headland, this property is only 45 minutes from Hornsby (90 minutes drive from Sydney CBD), and less thean an hour from Newcastle and the Hunter Valley wineries. It is close to the Toukley shopping centre and a 10 minute drive to The Entrance. "

Local Attractions

Norah Head has a relaxed, seaside village atmosphere and is surrounded by beaches, lakes and national parks. If you are looking for a commercialised, developed beach resort - then this is not the location for you. This seaside village has a laid back atmosphere, that is perfect for people wanting to swim; there is a rock-pool for children at the bay, or you can surf at the fabulous, patrolled Soldier's Point beach. The bay is perfect for those who enjoy snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking or spear fishing. There are boat ramps on the beach and at the nearby lakes, or you can just join the many beach fishermen. The property overlooks bushland, with many designated trails catering for bush-walkers. Also at Norah Head you'll find a whale watching platform and lookout from the beautiful Norah Head lighthouse, which gives a great view up and down the coast.
