No better place to take that someone special than this beautiful, brand new home set on a peaceful 6 1/2 acres surrounded by fine vineyards, art galleries and breathtaking beaches. Meltdown-South Retreat offers a large double-sided wood fireplace, beautiful jarrah floors and a huge entertainment deck with BBQ facilities overlooking open bush, paddock, local wildlife and children's playground equipped with swings, cubby house and slide.
Meltdown-South Retreat includes all modern conveniences. It contains 4 bedrooms (3 queens, 2 singles) 2 bathrooms plus laundry. A well equipped kitchen and a fantastic open plan living area with TV, video/DVD, CD player and stereo surround sound. There is a games room with fully equipped pool table. Family friendly, playground, portacot and high chair available.

Local Attractions

Meltdown-South Retreat is just a short drive to restaurants, wineries and galleries and beaches.

Beaches: The house is situated 5 minutes drive from the famous Yallingup and Smiths Beaches. Both beaches are great to take the children to and ideal for snorkeling and fishing.

Surfing & Snorkeling: Yallingup surf breaks and Smiths Beach breaks are ideal for all levels. There are heaps of other breaks nearby as well.

Wineries and other attractions: There are a number of quality wineries and other attractions just minutes away. Meltdown-South Retreat is around the corner from local attractions such as Lamont's Winery, Ganyulgup Galleries, Simmo's Ice Creamery and numerous others.

Fishing, Snorkeling, Caves, Diving: There are many options for the outdoor adventurers. Contact the local tourist bureau for more information.

Booking Details

There is a maximum of 8 adults allowed at any time. There will be a fee of $10/person/night for any more than 8 people. There are 5 floor mattresses available for extra guests. No pets are allowed. A $200 refundable security deposit is required with all bookings. A $300 security deposit is required during the Christmas and Easter school holidays and special events.

Bookings are from 2 pm day of arrival and 10 am day of leaving, so cleaning can be done for incoming guests.

Bedrooms are supplied with doonas and pillows. BYO Linen. Full linen is available at $12/person/night.

Unfortunately we DO NOT rent the house out to leavers during leavers week.
