We had a ball at Waratah Cottage! It was a lovely, spacious, well-equipped home with a yard perfect for the little ones to run around. The property is walking distance to a plethora of great beaches scattered around Bendalong point. Anne was very accommodating and responsive. We will definitely be back!!

Very well located house, with just about everything a family needs for their holiday. The boogie boards are a nice touch and saved us from having to go shopping.

we chose Bendalong & Waratah Cottage, initially because it was the only accommodation we could get at short notice but once we arrived at the cottage & hit the beach we were ready to book again. The quiet location, proximity to the beach, lazy afternoons on the verandah, cooking on the barbq were great, the added bonus is the ample sized yard for the children to play & admire the many visiting native birds & kangaroos. I would definately take my family back to Waratah Cottage for future holidays & long weekends.

Anne managed to squeeze us in for 3 nights during the busy summer school holidays. The house is very clean and well appointed, modern bathroom (with a little spa!) kitchen and laundry. Out door shower was great for cleaning up after a trip to the beach.
The area has easy access to beaches and bush, couldn't ask for more.
Kangaroos come out at dusk and bunnies live in the garden.

We had another fabulous Christmas Holiday at Waratah Cottage. It has a very relaxed beach house feeling, and is perfect for families with kids located close to all the beaches and walking distance to the local shop !
We look forward to going back to Waratah next time we go to Bendalong.

We were 8 for the first half of the holiday and we were not cramped at all. The kids loved all the quirky memorabilia- especially the mug in the wine barrel on the wall. There were plenty of new small appliances, pots and pans, cutlery, mugs, glassware etc and a good fridge. (BYO sharp knife is all). Although Waratah St is behind the house it is not noisy at all. Main beds could be upgraded to a larger size but they are firm (not saggy). Despite the very good TV and entertainment options we did not use them much at all.

Very nice 50s cottage, heaps of character and a great location. Some slightly disturbing crafts and a non-functioning light bulb in the bathroom would be my only minor complaints.

We stayed at Waratah Cottage at short notice and it turned out to be a fantastic adventure. It had everything you could imagine, we wanted for nothing. The kids were impressed with the beach toys and boogie boards and I enjoyed the trip down memory lane looking at all the beautiful furniture and ornaments. I would recommend it to families and couples. It is walking distance to everything.
