Rustic but comfortable with power, plenty of hot water, digital tv. 3 bedrooms 1double, 1 family room( queen bed and bunks) 1 bedroom with bunks (king single) . Up to 8 persons but prefer couples. Total peace and quiet. If you are after night life and restaraunts this is not for you. If you are after 5 star luxury this is not for you. If you are a serious bushwalker, caver, etc , fossiker,or like us, just want to chill out by the open fire or fish from the jetty it is just the spot.
8 km from Hastings caves and hot Springs,
Southport beach, Cockle Creek, Recherche Bay.
1 .1/2 hours south of Hobart on the scenic route via Huonville and Dover

Prefer couples but sleeps up to 8. 2 bathrooms.

Do not be expecting luxury, it is not , it is our holiday home with gum boots in the corner. Prefer you to bring own linen as we are on tank water however we have an emergency supply.
Chill out , fossick,fish, bush walk, swim, bushwalk,go on the Ida Bay Railway, Visit Hastings hot springs and caves.
