  • "AMAZING. Accommodation was unique, yet very stylish. Tranquil and simply beautiful. And the FOOD... OH MY GOODNESS.. food was to die for. Strawberry pan-cakes - some of the best food i've ever tasted.Kids loved the feeding the farm animals too! "
    Heidi, October 2008

  • "The hosts were friendly and had good local knowledge, and the food was very good (a hearty dinner and breakfast the next morning). The cottage was a good size and comfortable and clean. However, there was only one small portable heater and we were very cold. "
    Jacqui, July 2008

  • "This is a great place to stay. relaxing country atmosphere that is nice and close to town. The breakfast is fabtastic and the hosts very friendly and helpful. Pets are welcome which is great and the train carriages are lots of fun to stay in."

  • "What a wonderfully unique place to stay. The Train carriages have been restored and refurbished to reflect both style and comfort. Our Host, Jeff showed us around the property and introduced us to their wonderful 'menagerie'. Because we'd already made other arrangements we didn't take up their offer of dinner, however, breakfast cooked by Jeff was excellent and he was very informative about what aspects of the surrounding area were worth a visit."
    Annie, December 2007

  • "What an absolute find! We were looking for somewhere special to stay for my son's 9th birthday and visit to Grandpa in Port Fairy. Matthew loved sleeping in a real train carriage, and my partner and I enjoyed it just as much! Very comfy accom, even though it rained, hailed and gale force winds blew throughout our entire stay we were cosy and warm. Fed the Llamas and sheep, dined sublimely in the restaurant and full marks to Jeff for his chef abilities. We will definitely re-visit this wonderful place. "
    Tracey, December 2007

  • "Absolutely fabulous. Paradise on earth. We absolutely loved it."
